How do you even begin to clean that up?

The death toll seems really low as of now. It has to easily end up at least 100,000 people. Those splintered piles of debris are houses and cars -- there had to be thousands of people in those houses and cars when it hit. Unbelievably sad.

yup.. when the indonesia stuff happened i remember them saying death toll was 100, then 1000, then a few days later it jumped to 10,000 then 50,000, then 100,000, then 250,000

ive been looking at pics and following it closely.. the death toll will be 100,000+

There are many missing, plus millions of survivors dont have food and water, and will die in the coming days.. many people are also trapped and havent been rescued, its all a mess..

The death toll right now is very low, but authorities claim one sanctuary or something like that alone has 10k dead people they need to clean up.. as they go through the towns the death will pile up.. the problem is they dont count the death toll until they get a dead body, it'll just keep creeping up slowly.

All those miles and miles of 15ft debris has thousands of people buried underneath as well, they just havent been discovered..

          RIP to everyone that died..

A lot of these particular ones that I've seen are on the other news sites as well.

                    Found my answer...

About 26 minutes from having a devastating earthquake to being hit with a 22ft wall of water.

Then three minutes later another 10ft wall of water. But the first had only receded to about 10ft above sea level so the second one went as far inland as the first one did. Keep piling them on for about 1 hour and 45 minutes...

                    Amazing...

Looks like the earthquake and tsunami are starting to affect the world's stock markets. Most Japanese stocks seem to be dropping about 10% today and impacting the markets in general. The yen's exchange rate hit 80Y per $.

                              Wow.....watch your wallets!

I guess that's proof that no matter how bad you think your life is, there's others that got it worse

The one thing that truly amazes me about the Japanese people is the fact of how orderly there are, if that happened in California, there'd be looting and all kinds of other shit, look at New Orleans.
