Every cable news channel talks about Libya, like the Japanese earthquake never happened. Libya is just another bullshit military diversion by our country -- a disaster like the Japanese earthquake and tsunami/Nuclear disaster is a pretty major event.

This is how news works. Japan was on the news constant for about 2 weeks or something there. If that was still the main story, people would be asking "what the fuck is happening in Libya, we know about Japan already. Nothing else can be done"
