Worst thing you've been through ?
What's the worst you've been thro ?
These last few months have been hella fucked for me, like I've never even imagined It all started in december, when suddenly I was attacked by a case of blood poisoning that almost killed me, after a trip to the ER in septic shock and close to death it was determined that rotten impacted wisdom teeth were infecting me, and taking over my whole immune system,leaking infection through my jaw and would manifest itself in HUGE cysts on my lower neck , or back of my head... I took on the task of having all my teeth removed.... a few at a time. Plus all the bone that was "saturated" with infection, or decay also needed to be removed. We started pulling a few teeth per week, starting with these wisdom teeth, which thanks to a shattered jaw when I was 15 were " twisted and impacted throughout my jaw bone" ... basically all the roots were twisted around existing bone in my jaw.. so basically for the last 3 months, I've had my face ripped apart... bit by bit. Awake, alert, and only frozen 1/2 the time due to infection... In between ripping sessions, we'd do my favorite  bone filing.... Which is exactly as it sounds, filing the bone on your FUCKING SKULL to be nice and smooth after they rip your chompers out. I've been on a liquid diet since early Jan, and have lost close to 25 lbs ( if you knew me, I don't have 25 pounds to lose, my ass looks like a set of saggy tits ) I've had "dry socket" 5 times now, and we're finally done... if any of you have ever had a dry socket you'll know the only thing worse is death by cheese grader handjob. I've been on so many anti-biotics I itched out my ass for weeks, couldn't keep the little food I had in me down, and let me tell you, hurling your guts out through freshly stitched mouth is pretty much as bad as it gets. While even though many times during this, I truly and utterly wished I was dead.... I made it thro, and I can't help but feel like, if I made it thro that shit, the world can throw whatever it wants at me and I'm READY. After all this, and finally off meds, I decided to drink my ass off tonight, and I'm now completely fucked off of wine, and I expect to wake up to some stories that make mine sound weak! GOGOGO !

bone spurs in both shoulders resulting in 2 operations was pretty crappy, probably the worse feeling I ever had was waking up from those and dealing with the pain... even with pain killers it was pretty intense, then having both elbows operated on was right there with it... totally miserable experience.
getting a complete set of caps was pretty crappy too, but nothing compared to the shoulders/elbows. loosing everything financially 3 separate times blows as well however just mental anguish not physical pain... my family which is my daughter and grandson are fine and doing well so no issues there.. |

Laying in hospital beds for weeks while doctors tried to figure out why my major blood vessels were dissecting. Oh and having them life flight me to various hospitals because they couldn't diagnose me, and having my entire family show up because they thought I would die or at least have major stroke. So much of that experience when I was 22 was just super shitty.
For pure pain I'd say ear drum ruptures are quite a fun time though once they pop it's fine. |

I'm gonna have to go with losing both of my twins due to medical malpractice. Obviously I'm not going to go into details... but there ain't shit that I've been through in life that's worse than that... and I've been through and seen a lot of shit.

Oh wow..... how nasty for you. I'd rather be beaten with a club than have my teeth worked on, I hate dentists.
Worst thing for me is in 1992 I got pregnant with my 3rd child and 3 days before Thanksgiving they told me I had lost it, there was no heartbeat..... the Doctor was headed out on vacation so he didn't have the time to get it out of me, so I had to go thru Thanksgiving and into December 3rd with a dead baby inside me, MY baby...... while my Dr was enjoying himself on his Ski Vacation. When I finally had a miscarriage, on December 3rd, the baby had broken down and the nurse decided to further torture me by putting it in the puke pan and leave it next to my bed and walk out of the room..... when the Doctor that was seeing me that day seen this, he screamed at her so loud you could hear it all over the ER and she was sent home on leave until she could figure out where she left her bedside manners. He was because I had already told him about the other Dr and he said I had been thru enough. I still struggle with this from time to time, it was the toughest time in my life. Losing a bay is bad enough, losing it THAT was was sheer torture to me and my family. |

When I was seventeen I was basically a homeless drug user, living out of a car that was barely running. Thank god the Marine Corps turned me around.

2010 by far was the worst thing ever.
1. Trip to Prison for drugs planted in my house by my now ex wife. ... 24 hours in local prison in General population for holding. Not a good time at all. 2. Finding out the baby my wife was pregnant with was not mine and my "friends" ... ugh 3. me freaking out and screaming at wife to get out of my home after #2 ... she called the local police and then 302'd me ... which means a free trip to the loon bin for 24 hours. Joys of living in a small village with 6 police in it. ( and I live in the US ) 4. estranged wife filing Protection from abuse orders once I was out of Loon bin and having to move back into parents house for a few weeks. .... all PFA's were rejected by the judge and I was cleared, only took 5 months. 5. reconnected with an old GF on FB .... We started talking and she asked me to stay with her. Since I had really only the parents house ... I said ok ... also left all my shit at home while I figured out my own house. GF turns out to be a utter maniac and possessive beyond belief. I had to literally make a break for it when she went to work ... then the stalking began ...lol .... she gave up a few weeks later. 6. Court dates for Divorce with the ex wife .... Utter hell ... unreal. 7. Finding out the ex wife never paid for the house while she had it. I nearly lost a $500k home to foreclosure. Last day before its gone, I had forked over $20k to save it. ( Thank God I had a great year in business to have the cash reserves ) 8. Head on car collision - Destroyed my BMW. Total loss. Slammed head on into a wall. 9. Day after crash - Stalker girl re-appears via phone. I tell her that I cannot see her anymore its over, please go away. I need space. .... she calls police to my house claiming I am going to kill myself and cannot take it anymore ... police show up. I happen to be standing in my garage with a chain saw to work on the fallen trees on my property ... after an hour the police realize that girl is nuts and I'm rather sane ...altho had a wild ride. 10. Bought a late model BMW and the engine seized a month into owning it. Dealer gave me a newer BMW .... All of this took place from Jan 2010 to August 2010. Since August 2010: I have had the most successful year of my business ever. I have found out that being alone is the best feeling you can have. no matter how bad things get, it always gets better .... trust me. - Jim All of this took place from Jan to August 2010 |

2 days before last Halloween my mother passed away, we live about 4 hrs from her and it happened shortly after supper. After packing the kids and wife up I finally decided, or realized, that there was no rush for me to drive that night, it wouldn't change anything and I couldn't help her, so we went to bed and planned to leave in the morning.
About 1 AM that night I heard the worst crying I ever heard in my life, which soon turned to screaming. I live in a town with less then 2,000 people so it was quite unusual. My neighbor (whom I didn't know) had went to check on her 1 yr old and found her dead, she walked out of the house (mortified obviously) and sat right under my bedroom window, screaming her childs name until the Police/Ambulance arrived about 15 minutes later. I was devastated and still in shock from hearing about my mother just a few hours earlier but I'll never forget how her pain made mine feel like it was nothing but a paper cut. I would trade anything to make that day not happen for either one of us.

Ok that just took the cake on whatever I thought was a bad last few months. Thanks goodness I had my wisdom teeth removed in my early 20s, never knew they could cause so many problems

lost my mom when I was 18, lost my father, my father in law, my brother and all my grandparents over about a 4 year stretch at the same time I was homeless.... twice. Things started looking up and then 10 years ago was informed I am going blind
I dont think I could take visiting the dentist, he'd prolly saw off my lower jaw |
