Are travel website useless these days?

I check 8 sites and they all have the same price for all airlines down to the cent. So what exactly is the point?

$187 flight from las vegas to phoenix and airlines are "struggling"? lol

Yes theyre basically all the same. Go directly to the airline and buy and you can usually avoid all the upselling charges such as courtesy fee and seat selection fee...

The website or to the airport?

I went to the company websites and found the exact same price. Got to love when every airline and every site has the exact same "deal".

depends on the flight... if its a more popular one i normally find better rates because they tend to buy in bulk... vegas flights from detroit are dirt cheap if you go through expedia, more expensive if you go through the airline direct.

At the airport. I doobie leave the airfare sites are all just scrapers that pulls the airline site price. Maybe run a partnership with Motels for advertisement n what not.
