Footage of dangerous behaviour on rail lines.

If you want to skip the little talk at the begining go to 0.40sec

This was shot in Australia by the way...

Common sense, it's not that common.

You would think they would have enough footage to make a decent video

There's enough on the rest of Youtube for feature length film, haha. People don't stop to consider just how dangerously stupid playing around the rails is. I've seen my fair share of random shit hit on the tracks before in my rail days. Not much stands a fucking chance against a train. Not a moose, not a televisions set, not a dumpster, not a car, and definitely not some random idiot

My first year out years ago, a foreman sent me and buddy back on bolt patrol in our work block behind that rest of the crew. We were cruising down the track minding our own business, when all of the sudden we hear a whistle blow. We look back and what do we see? A freight train about a quarter mile back, barreling at us at 60mph. The crew had cleared the work block with Rail Traffic Control and allowed the train through forgetting the two of us were still on the tracks. Big fucking no-no. Let me tell you, you never seen a fucking hi-rail truck fly down the track that fast in your life. We could have easily derailed and rolled to our untimely deaths. That truck was rocking like a motherfucker. We were easily pushing 90mph to get ahead of that train fair enough, so we would have enough time to clear the track at the next crossing. That train chased us probably close to 5-6 miles before we found a crossing.

Talk about shitting your fucking pants. Regulations say you're not supposed to go any faster than like 15mph in a work truck down the rail. Had that train gotten any closer we would have had to just bail and let it take out our truck...

little tidbit of information. if you're ever in a vehicle or near a vehicle that is about to get hit by a train. Run TOWARDS the train, not away. The ones who run away get shredded by the shrapnel.....
