if you are making any claims that go along with any disease it is just asking for trouble. that is just my opinion i would seek advice from a lawyer obviously about it.

major companies have been sued in the past years from anything from heart health claims to prostate claims as a "bi product" of the effects of a pill.

but then again you have to have the balls to make the money in the pill industry. each to their own.

but if your guy cant get organic seo for his product he would just need to do some media buys on some holistic style forums and some ppc if he can get familiar with adwords new terms on herbal products.
