sorry no pics but...

Ever go to the bank with a load of checks, then the tellers ask you (to satisfy her own curiosity) what you do?

So I tell that cunt I do websites, so she tells me (or herself?) that she will visit the address I had on the check (medley.com) to check what I do, and she does that with half a smile, really seemed like she already visited an address that was on a different check (much more hardcore).

So I said ok with a smile a left, but it was a bit annoying, who the fuck she thinks she is? I liked epass

one bank is just wires...they know nothing...no one knows me

the other one i deposit checks into...and its all smiles and hey brad...blah blah blah

i don't mind though...they are mostly hot chicks

not so simple. i think they tellers have to ask about any suspicious transactions, as do western union etc. at least they do in canada and are advised by the rcmp to do so i think.

and for my bank a bunch of checks from out of the country with weird names that look like they were laser printed qualify as suspicious.

yes i hate the bank as well.

yes i hate the bank as well.

I did state she asked for personal curiosity. She went to high school with my gf so she feels half-comfortable with me. She also rolls her eyes every time she sees me at the bank door because it's a bit more work for her to deal with checks coming from out of the country.

sometimes it takes 30 tries until it accepts a picture of the check. The last time i used it my boyfrend went to the bank, to the store and came back and I was still trying to deposit my checks.

Sometimes they put a 7 day hold on my checks, always depends on the teller. The ones who know me it's never an issue, the days with random old ladies and weird checks, always a hold.

The issue lies in the fact that Chase caps you at $2500 a MONTH that can be deposited through a phone (at least the last time I looked). It's not so convenient for companies or individuals doing higher volumes.

Max check is 1k, max deposit per month 3k for the smartphone app at chase. but they have a business version where you rent a check scaning machine like the one the teller uses but its about 100/month to rent i dont they they cap you then.

Tellers Rule

I refuse to use an ATM for several reasons. Tellers will hassle you to cash a $10 check. But I develop a rapport with tellers so I get no hassles. Two tellers, I always asked for $2 bills, gold dollars, 1/2 dollars or silver dollars. They got to know me.
Another teller, I worked for a company and every other day made a deposit for over $100,000. That was at a bank in a poor neighborhood. I was their biggest depositor. She moved to a new bank & remembered me when I went in there one day.
Needless to say, years later those tellers still know me. You won't get an ATM to help you. My girlfriend goes to the bank with no deposit slip, says "deposit or cash it." never gets a problem. Tellers are your friends. develop that friendship.
