Every decade has it's highs and lows, but nobody ever talks about the 90s. Too soon?

Every decade has it's ups and downs when it comes to fashion, style, fads, music, movies, and all those other trends. Is it too soon to start whining about all the nauseating garbage that went down in the 90s?

When you think of the 90's what is the most ridiculous, irritating "that's so 90s" shit you can think of?

For me I picture obnoxious artfags in overpriced coffee shops listening to Radiohead. Also the painful introduction of nu-metal...

Add your irritating shit from the 90s. I'm bored and thinking back to the 90s for some reaon right now. However I'm not interested in all the cool stuff I remember, for some reason trying to remember the negatives...

90s were a long drawn out hangover from the 80s.

one thing true about every decade, those who were 'cutting edge' in fashion or almost anything look like the biggest tools when you look back on it. a lesson for all the kids out there, don't waste your time or money trying to impress others with whats going on right now because soon it will be out and you'll look like a retard and wonder what the hell were you thinking.

wiggers were big in the 90's (though they still live today). i remember some guys wearing their jeans backwards so they could be like those jump jump kids, cross colours..malcolm x shirts. they all wore this certain brand of jeans too. wish i could remember the brand but i just can't. they came in some funky colors though and were baggy as hell.

Fubu? I had a buddy in high school everyone called Fubu. The biggest fucking wigger you'd ever meet. The white kids with a buzzed head, diamond ear ring, and overalls 10 siz4s to large. One strap hanging off and one pant leg rolle dup to his fucking knee. Cruising in his Ford Escort with Biggy cranked to the nuts. He tried way too hard to be ultra cool, but he was a good shit. We're still good buddies to this day. Every once in a while I have to bring up "Fubu" again, and you can see the shame creep across his face. He's had hair passed his shoulders and been a hardcore metal head for damn near a decade now. Fucking hilarious transition.

One trend I really liked was chicks wearing 70's style flare leg jeans.

The 90s were just boring. What trend did the 9s0 have? Grunge? Now there's a cool trend to reflect on!

Bring back the 80s! Big hair and leg warmers!

No it wasn't fubu. I'll never remember the name. Hell it could of only been my little part of the world where that brand was really popular. Who knows. Living in a small town there was only the one brand available (though exhaust jeans were pretty popular too) and it was only available in one store. I just can't think of it for the life of me. I bought a pair once, wore it with my rock shirts and got some flack from the wiggers. Good times.

the 'grunge' look isn't all that embarrassing to look back on, not like the 80s, at least in my mind. possibly because i rocked the grunge style for most of high school. flannel shirts, ripped up jeans, doc martains, dyed hair, long and shaved underneath.
