Love MBV, when I had my band, we were compared quite a lot to MBV, a bit because of the music (although most people thought we sounded a little more like Curve), but mainly because our female singer (now my wife) had a voice very similar to Belinda Butcher's. Then we moved to something more original, but MBV is the soundtrack of my pre-marriage relationship with my wife. Only Shallow is one of my fave songs, but check out the one below:
btw, once they released the "Soon" EP, Madonna producers stole the drum pattern for most of "Erotica" LP
