They do that back home too. It goes on your demographic. Statistically young males get in more wrecks than females. So they pay less. It takes a few years of clean driving record before the rates balance out between men and women. I used to bitch about it when I first got my license, but when you think about it, the system does make certain sense. I don't know how they play it out over there, but eventually your record will speak for itself and things come around. For a young guy just getting a vehicle/license though, they sure fucking stick it to you. -
Had to laugh at all the idiot women on the radio and tv today saying shit about how great drivers they are.
That's why every time you go to the supermarket, all you see is women who can't park for shit, bumping into the car nearest them.
Fuck them, been getting cheaper insurance than guys for years. Now it's payback time...

thing is, if men had got cheaper insurance then all hell would let loose.
if women are allowed to pay less for car insurance, then men should be alowed to be paid more at work. you see thats sexsist (quite rite), so why was it not sexsist that women pay less.
sure on average women may be safer but that does not mean all women are safer and thus all should pay less.
but what if the argument was whites are safer drivers. or christians are safer, or non gay are safer and so on. and so gave them cheaper insurance. see, where does it stop.
i am pleased that this sexsist thing will stop.

My roommate is a feminist. Any time the "equality" argument comes up, I have a plain and simple end for it. I make her an offer to prove it. "If we're equal in our ability, lets go out front and go punch for punch. You can go first. Last 'person' standing wins." That's usually the end of the whole 'anything you can do, I can do' debate. She used to be a laborer with a electric crew, and she'd always come home bitching and whining about how all the ever do is have her on cleanup, and she wants to learn more and get more responsibility, and how the whole company is sexist. that may sound odd, to say femanists or not femanists, but years ago i asked my nan if she was a femanist as she had her own business.
she said no.
she said femanists only speak for the middle class not working class. she said working class women have worked for years, often in tough jobs. femanists almost do it as a hobby.
in other words femanists are not for womens rights as a whole but for a select nomber of women.
now if you think about it, why are femanists against porn?
becase its about often working class women earning well. if working class women got paid next to nothing, do you think femanists would realy be bothered about porn?

It annoys me when the thought police tell me I'm not allowed to pick up on differences between different populations. I'm originally a Mathematician/Statistician so I can't help but be aware of these things. I still judge everyone as an individual, as just because a certain population has more fast runners or more billionaires, doesn't mean the there aren't people within that population/race who are completely different to the average.
If we were allowed to point out the truth there would be a lot of haters. Maybe the majority of people do need to be brainwashed in this way in order that we can all live together. A new EU ruling came today, making it illegal to charge different insurance premiums based on gender since this is a form of discrimination. It will come into effect as of December 21st, 2012 so insurance companies will have some time to adjust their premiums and terms, but it will affect all EU countries and this ruling is from the highest court, so it cannot be appealed any higher or overturned.----------------------------------------------------------------------------------

The difference is that the woman will bump into your car in the parking lot, she'll take 5 minutes to park a car, she'll slide into your ass end at a stop sign. Yadda yadda, Daily she's a mildly shitty driver.
It's the guy who'll loose control at 160km/hour roll 5 times and take out a shortbus full of retarded children and make the front page of the paper.
As fun as it is to laugh at women's shitty driving skills, it's statistically younger men who drive like wild maniacs and get into serious wrecks more often. You don't need to be some sort of insurance analyst to see that. Just think over all the car wrecks you can remember friends and acquaintances getting into where the vehicle was a total write off. More than likely 9/10 of you are going wind up with a list where the men's serious wrecks far outweight that of women.
