I had a few practice games of Roullette at Casino.com then went to bet and my brand new password was rejected, PW reminder didn't work and no support.

Tried 888.com and finally filled out the signup form and the server goes down.

Not as bad as TrafficShop! All the packages are around $300 and the paypal options are

[$20]
[$50]
[$100]
[$500]

So I made the first $100 and now Paypal hangs.

I tell you eCommerce is a joke!

My bank says they don't even know if a bank wire is on the way, when all bank wires begin by contacting the receiving bank.

Try paypal for emergency funds you say? After 5 weeks waiting for a bank wire I got an emergency $2000 paypalled, but that's over the Australian money laundering limit so I still had to go hungry in the park.

Buy something with paypal? Nope! Any problem with your CC and it blindly says YOUR PAYMENT WAS SUCCESSFUL! Nope! Money is still in you bank account while they sort out a week long echeck accessing your savings account you set up for withdrawals, meanwhile the seller is waiting for his money.

I was going to buy a toy roullette wheel to test my psychic predictions, I might have to at this rate, you sure as hell can't send people money over computers.

The problem with the double up system is that the table limit will get you. For example if you bet red there is a min as well, so say you needed to bet at least $5, if you lose 10x in a row you will likely have hit the table limit then you can't double up any more to get your money back, you just lose. It's not very uncommon for red or black to come up 10x in a row. If that happens to you, you busted hard.

In theory, if there were no table limits, the double up system would work. But the casino aint stupid.

That's pretty much the basic premise most career poker players live on. Not the big tournament guys, but the ones who grind it out on small tables eating up the little fish. A lot of the online home players and such. I got a buddy who makes his living on PokerStars. He never leaves the the little tables, like $.50 tables or whatever. The pots get up to a few bucks at most. But he can sit down on those small tables and eat up low level players all day if he wants. He's not winning million dollar tournaments but he makes enough to live on by putting in hours like any other job and playing as "safe" as he can...
