Is there an easy way to check if you get paid on the cascade?

Found several programs today which we promote with CCBill but the joins go to Epoch or Verotel. Is there an easy way to see if you are getting properly credited for these sales?

Guess the easiest way would be to do a test join right?

    Thnx

Ok and how does the link I found above pass our ID? Which part would be making the link to our CCBIll ID? (**** is blanked out by me)

CCbill only cascades to certain programs. and when they do they pass the affiliate ID and you still get credit in the CCBIll system. you will also get paid via the ccbill system just like regular.

Go to CCBill and Epoch join pages for that site and see if your ID is being passed as referer in the URL. This is how ours are set up.

CCbill pays you for those cascaded sales. For you it *should* just show as a normal sale. As far as I know, it would not show any differently in the admin for you.

              Run a test.

Best way would be to show the full URL to CCBill and ask I would think?

if its ccbill doing the cascading then you will most likely get credit. If it's Nats though, there are a couple ways I can think of that you might not get paid.

One is if the sponsor simply doesn't have postbacks configured from the second biller in the cascade.

The other is to simply set the denial url in the tour to another nats join link with a different affiliate ID.

To do either one they'd have to be some combination of sneaky and incompetent.
                    - As soon as I think up a good sig it's going here.

Roald, As far as I know no cascade giving ccbill affiliate credit is possible with Verotel. But there is a way to set up a affiliate link so that it sets both a ccbill and verotel cookie as long as the ccbill program has certain options enabled.

It looks like this as an example:

                      http://refer.ccbill.com/cgi-bin/clic...00000099999999

Also you can see whether the sponsor is using cascade by the url on the form. Check out Daizzy's ccbill manual for more information.

                      http://www.signbucksdaily.com/marketing/ccbill-manual/

It would be nice if ccbill made the status of all the options including which processors were credited to the affiliate account available to affiliates. Please use Freeone's clout to convince ccbill to do this in order to help both affiliates and Freeones ensure that they are getting a fair deal.

The verotel one is offline right now, the other "suspect" seems to be cleared thanks to Nadya who was helpfull. I hardly ever check anything ccbill as I kind of "not like" (let me put it nicely) their setup.

Now off to check the other 1200 ccbill accounts!!!!

                        Thanks everybody

They do show up differently in the affiliate admin - sales made through CCBILL appear in either GREEN(active) or RED(cancelled). Sales made via Epoch through CCBILL's cascade appear in BLACK. CCBILL has no way of knowing whether a customer processed through Epoch has cancelled, Epoch only passes data on to CCBILL when a sale or rebill gets processed.

The guaranteed method is certainly a test signup since sponsors can use multiple methods of cascading. In the case of a CCBill to Epoch cascade or vice versa using the CCBill cascading system the url will need to be the ...billingCascade... URL. You can view the source code on the CCBill credit card form and look for 'referer', you can do the same on the Epoch form and look for 'reseller'. Both of these variables should include your CCBill referral ID. Hope this helps.
