Real Media Files

I'm rendering a few gay video clips that i produced and I'm in the process of streaming them on a new site in both real media and windows media. However, the real media isn't as straight forward. So I have a few questions for all you streaming media gurus

1. Is it better to render the .rm file in real or http format?-
This is what i understand.
in real format - the helix or real server basically decides how much to push at you depending on your connection speed. So I've decided that choosing dialup and 256k/lan to create the file for. However the .rm file is about 5mb per min of movie

OR

in http format - i have to make different files - one for dialup users and one for 256k+. I found the .rm file is about .5mb and 2mb respectully per min of movie.

So again, based off the file size alone I'd say it's better to just offer two links for real - one for high and one low speeds saving on banwidth- but generally speaking i don't know if one format is of better quality or which users like most. Any feed back you can give me and your suggestion on format is appreciated.

2. Generally speaking what is a 'good' file size for 1 min of movie in real and windows media format?

I've found that a good quality and nice size viewing area on windows media is 2.5mb per min. Does that sound about right?

Due to the difference in the rendering formats for real media - i'll just ask if you know of a good range per min of movie in real media format?

Thanks. I appreciate any assistance or guidance you can offer.
