What Kind of Chainsaw do you own?

I own a few, a Stihl and a Husky, I fell two oaks that died today and cut them up for firewood and was thinking about this. I'm in a bar now cutting up video for some galleries, my back hurts a little, but that is starting to get numb, maybe that's the rum.
I own a craftsman chainsaw also, but it's too hard to start and I need to sharpen the chain. Was funny, I was figureing out how to sharpen the damn thing, haven't been using it for a while and I just usually get a new chain when it dulls, so I used my BlackBerry and youtubed "chainsaw sharpening" and followed the instructions.

Bartender is hot, LOL.. Hello Jessica!!!

Wait, I should be tweeting this shouldn't I? LMAO
Carbon is not the problem, it makes up 0.041% of our atmosphere , 95% of that is from Volcanos and decomposing plants and stuff. So people in the US are responsible for 13% of the carbon in the atmosphere which 95% is not from Humans, like cars and trucks and stuff and they want to spend trillions to fix it while Solar Panel plants are powered by coal plants
    think about that

Stihl is very good but I bought a Husky because I raced their enduros for years.

I got the stihl by inhertance, the Husky at a garage sale for $25 and the Craftsman as a saftey award from where I was working at the time

You got a chainsaw for a safety award. What were you doing testing land mines for a living?

Stihl 024 tried and true. Light weight yet, screams like a whore that likes it with never leaving me without wood!
Congrats on the free Oak, money in the bank for those who burn!
Buy a file that fits the chain and sharpin those fuckers, gets expensive to replace every time your saw cuts angles.

A big stihl and a little crappy one from walmart.

I use the little one more these days - so far it's held up okay.

I've used Stihl and Husqvarna chainsaws, and I've got to say they both are pretty on par with one another from what I've seen. I'll lean toward Huskies as the better brand though based on my experience with their circular cut saws. I've made literally thousands and thousands of cuts through hardened head rail working on the railroad, using both Stihl and Husqvarna saws, and the Stihl's don't hold a candle to Husqvarna in that whole realm. The Stihl's gum up way faster, they've got an awkward balance to them, and they just don't seem to have the guts a Husqvarna does. Which lead's me to believe that if you were a Lumberjack, slasher, or somebody else who slung a chainsaw all day, you might find yourself in the same boat.

I use my Stihl most of the time, it has a 18" bar and I have the Husky with one twice as big.
Today swinging the maul to split the wood, I think I almost have a cord from yesterday, not a bad day. My back feels fine this morning. Getting older I worry about that!!

i have a dozen or more chainsaws, but the stihl's are definitely my favorite..

and with the safety features, i feel comfortable using them naked..

                                                even running with them..

they also have great balance when launching down a flight of stairs...

So people in the US are responsible for 13% of the carbon in the atmosphere which 95% is not from Humans, like cars and trucks and stuff and they want to spend trillions to fix it while Solar Panel plants are powered by coal plants

When I was about 20 or so (10+ yrs ago), still living at home with Dad, he wanted me to help him cut down some trees out back. I was reading the paper, and told him I'd be out in a few minutes when I was done. A little bit later, he comes in the back door and says, "I think I need a hand here."

I casually got up and replied, "Ok," thinking he meant with a tree. Then he says," I cut myself with the chainsaw," very nonchalantly. I was thinking "WTF?!" and ran to the back door, where he was standing with his hand trying to hold the skin on his leg/knee together.

I comment that I thought he should go to the hospital, but he hates doctors and refused. So, we cleaned it off the best we could, and wrapped it in bandages, and then he was back outside cutting down trees. He has a huge scar down the front of his leg.

LMAO
