If someone can explain to me why going from 1 sale in 100 to 1 sale 1,000s is right, I will happily admit I'm wrong.
Also it's as clear as day people are finding it tougher today in adult, people are leaving the business, sites, sponsors and boards are closing. There's absolutely no proof the buyers are migrating to a few big sites, more likely the bigger sites are not suffering so badly yet, we know the small ones are.
Are the medium size ones next?
Maybe it's your level of ability that make it right for you. For me a business should be growing if it's got it right. I aim higher than some.Comment

The good old days when people had to buy porn. Well I'm in a big group here who wish the same. I read so many posts telling me they wish it was 2005.
So many want to go back to the days when people didn't give away free porn, so they can give away less free porn.
The Internet should of been a great leap forward for the porn industry. It should of made a lot of people very very rich. Not $50 million. I'm talking about $500 millionaires. Because the Internet was a way for billions to access porn. As opposed to millions.
The problem was everyone started to fight over traffic. As if the more traffic, meant the more money. Well that's the way it should of been. But the only way they could think to get more traffic was to give away more free porn. And the slide started.

Directly after that a weight lifting supplement commercial comes on and they are giving away 30 days worth of their product FOR FREE so you will try it and hopefully buy more. The whole "give stuff away for free" mentality is happening in all industries both online and off. It might not be a good idea but no one has found a solution yet obviously. If you add up the profits from every company in existence that has given their product away free in hopes of selling it I'm sure it amounts into the trillions, even a small percentage in change would reap huge profits, but they are still trying to give more and more away FREE. And are these companies ran by young people? Most of them probably not.

The fundamental problem was the structure and direction of the online porn business from the early days. Spending too little on the product, too much on traffic had only 1 end result. A market flooded with mediocre sites and tons of free content.
I made a post in another thread and it shows it's nearly impossible to spend more than 15% on traffic and have good to great content in the members area, based only on Internet sales. The few who managed to do it started in the early days and built. The majority didn't make it past the level of, spending too much on what would eventually cause the demise of the industry. Free Content.
