    Suggestion to sponsors' w/free content

I know it's free, so we should be happy with it.. which is true..

But in that it helps both the sponsor and the affiliate, I just wanted to throw in this little suggestion..

Why not have the pics in a given gallery either all portrait, or all landscape?

It sure would make things easier, and save a bit of time when using gallery software.. especially when making lots of galleries..

    Just a thought..

Well.. it provides them with content for galleries to promote the sponsors.. hence their reason for providing it..

One reason is that if all your pics are one or the other it limits your design. I have seen some pretty nice designs that use both portrait and lanscape. So as long as there are enough pics in the set all should be fine.

Personally I like both portrait and landscape. Gives each gallery a bit of random personality even if they are on the same template.

Some people provide enough free content that when selecting your images, you can find enough of whatever type you want. My gallery packs are all intentionally too big for one TGP gallery.

Also, just because a pic is landscape doesn't mean the thumb you generate has to be. A few pics only have one logical thumb, but with most you can make an attractive thumb in any dimensions you like. Which of course means that the orientation of the pics doesn't really limit your gallery design options much.
