Just another reason America gives for people in the world to hate it. Even worse, Al Qaeda wasn't working as a government entity, the United States is. What is the difference between an American going and murdering two people and an Afghani on 9/11?
At least the guys that did 9/11 knew they would die and didn't cry like little bitches for someone to rescue them. You know things are getting tough when your CIA agents and spies are pussies.Comment

I told GFY this last week - diplomats don't carry guns in foreign countries.
No matter what it was listed as working for the diplomatic staff there, so he does in fact have diplomatic immunity. The Pakistani government was told in advance of his arrival there he was part of the diplomatic staff, no matter what his real intentions were.
And the truth is he just assassinated two men.Herschel Savage

From WikipediaPakistani authorities have leaked to the media that they knew Davis was in touch with the "Pakistani Taliban"(TTP). A police officer confirmed that "his phone records clearly show he was in contact with Lashkar-e-Jhangvi, for what reason we can only speculate," referring to a terrorist group with close links to the Pakistani Taliban.[14][68]
So looks like the CIA is working with the Taliban? Hope all of you out there with your sons and daughters fighting the Taliban and dying can take comfort in that.Comment

Yeah, I guess I should just go do something like watch a basketball game or the Bachelor rather than talk about things like the United States giving nuclear weapons to Al Qaeda. Who gives a shit about that, I want to see who Brad picked!!
Some of us live in reality and then there are others like you who live in fantasy land. So off you go, let the grown ups talk and manage the world.
On February 20th a Russian Foreign Intelligence Service (SVR) report has referred to Pakistan's ISI stating that top-secret CIA documents found in Davis's possession point to him and/or TF373 (American Task Force 373) of providing al Qaeda terrorists with "nuclear fissile material" and "biological agents". [96][97] According to the report, the combat skills exhibited by Davis, along with documentation taken from him after his arrest, prove that he is a member of US TF373 black operations unit currently operating in the Afghan War Theatre and Pakistan's tribal areas.[98]
Hey theking, now your precious US military is giving nuclear weapons to Al Qaeda? Damn, sucks to be you dummy!!
Right, thieves that were sitting on a motorcycle in front of the guy, that didn't get off their motorcycle and were just shot through the front windshield. And when one of those 'thieves' tried to run for his life, he was shot in the back. Yeah, really sounds like a guy trying to fight off robbers.Last edited by moeloubani; 02-20-2011, 10:43 PM.Comment

It doesn't matter. This guy is former US Special Forces, and his purpose there was both clear and obvious (at least it is now). I'm not denying he broke their laws. But he was listed as a diplomat, and as such, he has full diplomatic immunity.Herschel Savage

I guess to you the only way to actually do something for your country is to go kill someone. I'm sorry you feel that way, I don't believe in killing people to further an idea. My protests happen here where I can reach significantly more people than if I were on a street with a sign or a gun.
I may sound like a complete fool to you, but you my friend ARE a complete fool and everyone on this board has seen it and knows it.
Now go back to crying about ePassporte like a little broke bitch, ok?

as would a Pakistani intelligence officer in america
the difference of course, is whether that immunity would apply if that hypothetical pakistani agent shot two CIA agents who were shadowing, if the rumours are accurateComment

there is no credible source proofing this. in fact, the wiki states ::On February 20th a Russian Foreign Intelligence Service (SVR) report has referred to Pakistan's ISI stating that top-secret CIA documents found in Davis's possession point to him and/or TF373 (American Task Force 373) of providing al Qaeda terrorists with "nuclear fissile material" and "biological agents". According to news sources, items recovered from Davis' car included GPS chips that according to Pakistani investigators were being used in identifying targets for drone attacks in the tribal region,[28] a Glock handgun, a flashlight that attaches to a headband, a pocket telescope, a large number of cellphones, including at least one satellite phone, a collection of batteries, buckets of bullets, both for the Glock and a Beretta allegedly used by Davis to kill the two motorcyclists, and a quantity of M-16 shells. Police report that the bullets were high-powered killer projectiles not allowed in many countries. There were military-grade knives, wires, and a surprising array of high-capacity magazines for the handguns. Also found was a camera loaded with pictures of dozens of madrassas (religious schools) and other buildings around Lahore.[29] Pakistani media have also reported, that Davis also carried multiple ATM and military ID cards and what was described as a facial disguise or makeup. The Pakistani official said Davis also carried identification cards from the U.S. consulates in Lahore and Peshawar but not from the embassy in Islamabad.[30]
It is alleged that following his arrest, the police recovered photographs of sensitive areas and defence installations from Davis' camera, among which included snapshots of the Bala Hisar Fort, the headquarters of the paramilitary Frontier Corps in Peshawar and of Pakistan Army’s bunkers on the Eastern border with India. The Government of Punjab considered Davis a security risk after the recovery of the photos.[68] Prosecutors also suggested that Davis be charged with espionage.[68]
It has been reported that CIA drone attacks in Waziristan, which had been occurring at the average rate of two to three per week since 2008, stopped after Raymond Davis was arrested. There were no reported drone attacks from January 23, four days before the Raymond Davis incident, until 21st February.[69] Some articles speculate as to possible relation between the arrest and the cessation of the attacks.[70][71]

ok so he is a CIA operative, so what?
he is there to carry out the dirty work that we US taxpayers need to have done.
sorry to be so blunt but the fact is anyone in or outside the freeworld scheming to kill or otherwise harm the citizens of USA is or will be targeted by the US authorities.
how some douche here (obviously from canada) can make this type of comment is beyond belief:

that's my point. wiki has conflicting info re: what was found. upon further looking into it, i could not find any credible news article stating docs were found showing this guy gave nukes to the taliban. And in fact the Wiki also states:

i want to apologize to Canada, i did not mean to insult Canadians in general.
I have lots of good friends who are Canadian and they are mostly all good people.
but to compare the pre-emptive strike of a CIA operative to that of th 911 mass murdering of free civilized citizens of Canadians, Americans and others of democrating nations is very offensive imho.
get real folks, people all over the world sacrifice their lives for the privileges we as free citizens in democratic nations enjoy every day of our lives."Obscenity is whatever gives the Judge an erection." -- Author UnknownComment

Wait so the pre-emptive strive of a CIA agent is different how than a pre-emptive strike from Al Qaeda? Sorry I was under the impression that a Canadian or American life is the same as a Pakistani life, but I guess in your mind one is worth more than the other.i want to apologize to Canada, i did not mean to insult Canadians in general.

I'm glad you're offended by it, because I find it offensive that you think somehow the CIA can do what they want while the rest of the world has to abide by the rules. Going to another country and murdering people is wrong whether you're the CIA or you're Al Qaeda. Just because the CIA guy didn't kill as many people it doesn't make the crime any different - murder.Comment

wtf ? isn't that exactly what you did 4 posts up ?
you were justifying the cia murdering someone by saying it is no different than 9/11
