If your name is all over the internet and associated with scams and angry people it makes it harder to do business in the future whether in adult or mainstream. It's only worthless now because most of the people scammed are doing jack shit. If you won't even take three minutes to post an anonymous complaint or take 30 minutes to file a complaint with the FTC if you're American then I'm not sure you deserve your money back because people like that only make it easy for guys like Mallick to continue screwing others.
Stand up for yourself or sit the fuck down and take it up the ass basically.

Every processor that has been around for a while, including us is on there. there is no remedy.Comment

Actually you can pay the site owner. It was $25000 for companies and $1000 for individuals. With all the appropriated epass funds he should have no problem taking it down if he cared to.Comment

I don't think they are angels. I'm very skeptical of their corporate advocacy program. But they are one of the biggest ones and what you are implying is one of their biggest strengths. They don't take a lot of reports down even if someone threatens to sue. That is big because most sites cave in to every legal threat. Your best recourse is addressing the complaint and acting professional. I've noted a lot of processors are on there myself. Some are bullshit complaints from people complaining about legitimate rebills but others are as a result of people banging cards or the processors allowing sites to do hidden cross sales and other crap like that. But so many here call that good business. Well you're going to have to take the good with the bad then. If a company encourages that crap then they are going to lose customers in the long term. Many webmasters have been saying it for years. How many customers run a Google check on the people billing them before handing over their card? How many check ripoffreport first? It's not 0%. Not in 2011.
If I were running a clean site I would look for a processor with a cleaner reputation than some of the others. If I were a processor I'd consider trying to clean up my policies if I had a bad reputation and publish that fact. It sucks for me as I know I lose sales but I think it's as it should be. Part of business is protecting your brand and your reputation. Not that any of this has much to do with Mallick.Last edited by signupdamnit; 02-21-2011, 05:09 PM.

I heard about that. I think they still leave up the report but they prepend a lot of spin before the negative reports. I believe they did this for Cash4Gold as well as some MLM type scam. However I still see all thee negative stuff. It's still there AFAIK. Regardless I think it's an excellent tool against scammers. Most sites takedown stuff upon receipt of a letter with lawyer's letterhead. They don't seem to do that. I'm not aware of any company getting a regular complaint removed. That is why when I get scammed by anyone they are the first ones I go to after making sure it's no misunderstanding and giving some time for a remedy.Last edited by signupdamnit; 02-21-2011, 05:12 PM.

Don't forget, file a complaint with the Better Business Bureau and the Attorney General of the State of California. You don't have to be an American to file and you can do it online. Actually, if enough people do file, the Attorney General will take a look.If your name is all over the internet and associated with scams and angry people it makes it harder to do business in the future whether in adult or mainstream. Maybe 5 or 6 years ago a company I worked for was actually contacted by the site owner and solicited for $25k to make it disappear, but I can't say for certain what that entailed. They have great search engine placement and have additional duplicate content sites that don't seem to get penalized such as pissedconsumer.com and badbusinessbureau.comI heard about that. I think they still leave up the report but they prepend a lot of spin before the negative reports. I believe they did this for Cash4Gold as well as some MLM type scam.
