why does the site have horizontal scroll bar when there is no need for it (something is too wide)?

Just lowered my monitor res to 1024 X 768 and you are right there is a horizontal scroll bar that shouldn't be there.

aligns too far right for me.

also i've got a 16:9 display and I get the scroll bar aswell.

Looks pretty good though!

Baz, you're very welcome. We should be thanking you for your continued support and for making such a nice post. Czarina sent me this thread and reading it made my day.

And yes, seeing a guy get kicked in the gonads always brings a tear to our eyes

The width setting is doing it. Without it nothing seems to break in firebug but that's more of a designers conundrum.

We have a couple sites running the ElevatedX tours... makes life easier, that's for sure.

Thanks bns666 for finding letting us know about the scrolling issue.
Babaganoosh, you were indeed correct that the width setting was causing the problem.
Czarina fixed it first thing this morning and kindly threw in 4 free banners for the mistake. :-)

Especially the footer, with the cracking effects, the very hard shadows on text + the huge buttons look rather old.
The style of the header looks better

I take it from these responses that the price I have paid is not cheap.
This is the first time I have hired a designer to do work for me and I chose Czarina because she is one of 2 or 3 that have published experience and recommendations of working with ElevatedX.

I realize that I may not have chosen either the cheapest or most expensive designer, but the important thing is that I am happy with the end result.
