                                          Why hate godaddy? Register domain for 1$, wait 2 months, transfer out.

                                          Going this way will get you two years for 1 year price (+1$) ! So pretty good deal if you ask me !

                                              that's what I do. I have roughly 2 domains at Godaddy at any given time... they all get transferred out ASAP.

                                                                                              You have to use a credit card for the promo, not sure if you were trying to use paypal? Also you can only use it once per account, did you change your mind on which domain to buy? I've lost a coupon doing tht before.
