Paxum... seriously? WTF is this?

The lack of consistency throughout their whole site is worrisome. Their website looks like someone put it together in one day, just threw it together and then let's see what happens. So many spelling errors allover the TOS, then one thing is asked for verification, the other thing is included in drop down menus. Then things are asked for that don't exist, improper methods are used. Just plain unprofessional.

In short it looks like a website of those companies that don't know much about PR and what the internets are all about. Let's just throw content up, be it correct or not, spell-checked or not - they will come - they should - everyone is talking about this internet - it's so hot we can't miss. "Someone, you, yes you there in the back of the office, put this shit together today and let's present it with a bang tomorrow when epassporte dies..."

Come on. Epass died months ago and you still can't fix your shit?

paxum works fine for me so far but have to agree the site looks so 1999 and some pages take forever to load.

A website for a Electronic Payment service that has the urls with bunch of includes and xls files on top of crappy and insecure PHP is totally unprofessional website. I would never join and risk my personal data being compromised on such a website.
I think it's about time you guys pay someone do you a normal professional website, no matter how much it costs!

+1 for paxum here, got the card quick, use it now for some months, easy and quick payout solution for smaller affiliates who receive 20-100/month from some sponsors.
even can wire in some moneys and take it out wherever in the world I want.
risks, yes, but life is a risk overall. sponsors should just put in their terms if a wire to paxum get lost and it dies like epass, the affiliates take the risk, so 1-2 payouts missing, not the biggest of a deal compared to how easy it is to get the cash otherwise.
check? sending to europe and paying 10-20 euros to cash it, and even need to bother someone there to fill the stub for the banks if you are on longer travels,,,forget it, I eleminate this sponsors slowly.
wires? good for some sponsors, even can wait 2-3 months till I get the 500 and pay 25-35, all good.

still waiting for payoneer, once the card got "lost", emc2payout,,,billing monthly for things, blah.

Hey Nick, distillery today? okokok, all good;-)

Oh Ruth and whoever person can go and just look at their site for an hour like it's the first time she saw it. Then start with the signup process, reading the TOS, the FAQ, the docs, going through verification (and do it for a business acc as well) and then come back here and tell me how big of a mess it is.

No, wait, don't bother, just go and fix all the errors you find. There are plenty.

I don't give a shit how good the card works for you, you and you. The service lacks the basics. And with that you wouldn't believe how inconsistent their demands were... Jesus F Christ. Some of you don't have a clue with your personal accounts and did any of the ones that praise even read their text and went through their demands or did you just fill it all in, order a card and pray to your virtual gods everything goes smooth and now that the ATM is spitting out money, let's forget about how it all looks on the outside, let's just say this is top notch shit.

Ruth, just go through the process, read the stuff, just go through the damn site. There's simply just no excuse.

And to those who keep an eye closed, close the other one too while at it and put the pedal to the metal.

I work with 1 rep, that rep is online and present 16 hours a day, ready to assist us in even the most retarded shit.
We are moving $xx,xxx on both accounts every month and up to date not a single glitch.
They get the job done, and when I need assistance they're on top of it right away, thats what counts. If the site looks like shit who gives a fuck.

Epass was all great until it wasn't anymore. It's like trusting my money with a bank that has a ton of errors in their TOS that I have to sign to get an account opened. Then come people like you that say, fuck errors, I move my money in an out daily and all worked. Wow, hats off to you.

STILL, the TOS are SHIT and so is the rest of the whole frontend. If there weren't for 100s of sponsors switching to them you couldn't take them seriously. You know I am right.

it would be nice if you went over some of your issues point by point showing examples.

I have to agree some of the errors in programming i have seen, cast some serious doubt in my mind anyways about the professionalism and security of paxum.

Like epassporte their customer service needs alot of improvement , a lot of people wasting time, accomplishing nothing. Tiny problem for me on a tiny account ended up being hours of calling , emails, icq's and in the end they tell me nobody actually did anything, just a lot of " looking into it" , " not sure", and "we will get back to you"

Thanks for your feedback McSpike!

Yes, our site design may leave a lot to be desired, however that is because we have chosen to focus our attention primarily on the functionality of account use and accessibility rather than the aesthetics of our site itself. We have been adding new features since we launched and we have some exciting new additions coming soon that will be sure to make our clients lives even easier!

Once we have completed our more valuable, and practical, updates then we will spend some time focusing on improving our site layout and design. For now our focus will remain on providing top quality service and practical ways for clients to access their funds and use their Paxum accounts with the most ease.

We are always open to feedback and suggestions, and I invite you and anyone else to contact me directly at [email protected] if you have any you wish to share. We are always eager to hear what our clients have to say about our service.

We have high grade encryption on the site through our extended validation SSL (check the address bar and you'll see it's green, the indicator of such things) - http://www.paxum.com

Paxum clients can block access to their account admin to specific IP's so that only designated IP addresses can login to their account.

We also have our recently added LOGIN PROTECTION feature which allows our clients to implement a login protection image that helps protect against phishing.

Security is one of our top priorities and we are constantly evolving to provide the ultimate protection and security possible for our clients.

Paxum is registered with FINTRAC (Financial Transactions and Reports Analysis Centre of Canada) in Canada as a Money Services Business.

FINTRAC is a government body.

Here is our listing:

http://www10.fintrac-canafe.gc.ca/ms...19556-eng.html

We are an ewallet payment service, not a bank, nor do we claim in any way to be anything like a bank.

Their biggest market is probably the adult industry..just as PayPal's biggest market is ebay. I haven't had any problems with them thus far, but who knows the way these companies come and go anymore :\

With regards to security, we are also PCI Compliant

Quote:
Q: What is PCI?
A: The Payment Card Industry Data Security Standard (PCI DSS) is a set of requirements designed to ensure that ALL companies that process, store or transmit credit card information maintain a secure environment. Essentially any merchant that has a Merchant ID (MID).
The Payment Card Industry Security Standards Council (PCI SSC) was launched on September 7, 2006 to manage the ongoing evolution of the Payment Card Industry (PCI) security standards with focus on improving payment account security throughout the transaction process. The PCI DSS is administered and managed by the PCI SSC (www.pcisecuritystandards.org), an independent body that was created by the major payment card brands (Visa, MasterCard, American Express, Discover and JCB.).

When I travel my Paxum card is fucking awesome. I can leave my real credit cards, debit cards, etc, at home or in the hotel safe and use this card. When I need cash, pull out my phone and transfer the cash onto the MC. Anybody steals it, there ain't shit to do with it because no cash is in the MC...

I love it!

I did a spell check on the TOS and "Majeur"(Majeure) was the only word it returned.

The website design looks good enough for me.

After first reading your post I had an negative image in my mind of what the site might
look like and all I saw was my own designs.

ofcourse there is a chance it goes wrong, especially with these kind of services... just dont leave large amounts on there. I used epass exactly the same.

The only reason that i had money on my epass account when it all went wrong was that my physical card was stolen and i had to wait for the new one to arrive. About two days after the virtual visa froze up which was the start of the ending, i received my new card - just my luck haha. Otherwise i wouldve gotten that cash out as soon as I received it, like I always did.
Anyway, i was able to get my cash eventually because i had everything on the virtual visa. But the point is youre a fool if you let large amounts just sit there on that account, whether it's epass, paxum, payoneer, etc.

Silly, did I ever anywhere said anything about design and layout!? That alone is fine. We don't need glitter.

What we need is consistency! When you say one thing in email and the websites says the same thing. Across the site. Not when you say one thing, website says another thing and the menu options offer you a 3rd thing. It's like WTF now?! We just went through the process hoping that we know what we are doing and hoping that you know what you are doing too. I could name a handful of stupid stuff you have on the website (again, no one is talking about design!). I told you to GO AND SIGNUP. Act like a customer with a business account. Check what the website says, check your menus, check the procedure. I was like "I hope they know what they are asking for, because from here it doesn't look like it."
