Well?I want to officially thank everyone that has shown support during my effort to raise money for my uncle. The original thread ?A VERY unusual request.?HELP!!? is still floating around on the board but I will no longer post to it or bump it. The offers that baddog, SpaceAce, awu, and notjoe have made in an effort to increase support still stand, and I could not have raised as much as I did without their support.

Today MikeySpermberg was banned for selling domain names. I know some of you get sick of seeing these threads, but he was only selling domains to raise more money for me and not for himself. Mikey single handedly contributed almost $2000 to my cause. I don?t understand why someone that demonstrates such heart and generosity would be banned, while in the meantime, there are guys posting fake contests offering choker clicks and not paying up. Which behavior seems more juvenile?

Again?thank you much for the support I have received from the members of the board. And while I could get no comment from Lensman directly about my asking for help here, he could have shut it down at any time and didn?t. My fund raising effort here is over so now it?s back to business as usual, however, I will still occasionally be posting updates on Ron?s care and condition for those that donated.

That's fucking weak. Mikey was very friendly and seemed like a stand-up guy to me. I spoke to him quite a lot over the last few days and I beileve he was just trying to help.

There's a long list of assholes on this board that need banning if you want to start "cleaning the place up" and Mikey wasn't on it.

Thanks for the kind words guys...hopefully mikey will be able to get back in here someday. I'm not sure if lensman knew why he was selling domains. I define a spammer as someone who joins a board to profit from it's members and MikeySpermberg was doing nothing like that. Mikey has a lot to offer and he is a stand-up guy, so we'll see what happens.
