WHat's the unemployment rate in your country?
More and more ppl getting umeployer here in The Netherlands. The unemployment rate is already 2,5%

In Australia, i think it's somewhere between 5 and 7 percent. It's far too easy to abuse the welfare system over here. Some people on welfare pocket more cash than people who work full time. It's quite disgusting actually.

Well I think the official # is around 5%, but when you count all people who are in some kind of job-getting program (they aren't counted as unemployed) the number is around 10%.

I think we are sitting right around 8%, mostly lazy asses who are milking unemployment all they can before they go back out & get a job.

We have 100% employment in America. Anyone healthy who truly wants to work can find a job. The "official" unemployment is around 5%, which is considered close to full employment.
Some of my friends are in the construction industry. They all take "vacations" all winter and collect unemployment. Can't say I blame them. If you only make around $50,000 and you are layed off for 4 months there is no incentive to get a job. |

I think it is 7% here in Canada, not 100% sure though. Our figures are for unemployed or underumployed.

In the US... it's always atleast 5%, I'm pretty sure its around 6% now.
