    Is the superbowl really a shit plate?

    Just checking here....

    If it is called "football" and it is in fact a "sport" that involves more hands than feet, and not so much a ball but an egg.

    And a "touchdown" doesn't actually involve touching the ball down.

    Then is the " Super Bowl" really a shit plate, or plate of shit?

      Agreed! it's like watching people play Risk on TV

      The half time show seems to have more action than the game.

        The name comes from Rugby Football and maybe touchdown has something to do with that too, but the word 'Bowl' comes from the Rose Bowl stadium which looks like a bowl so they called the championship game there the Rose Bowl. After that the college games were called bowl games and the NFL followed. 'Super' comes from a toy called SuperBall apparently, the founder of the AFL liked the name.

        Or you could call it Hand Egg Shit Plate, kinda has a nice ring to it
