NICE Just Got The XBIZ EU Email! SWEEEEET

Xbiz EU Sept 2011 In London at the same time as Ad Tech! VERY COOL!

I just wish AVN and Xbiz would space out between shows more. The one downside to this Xbiz La is that very little from Vegas has been completed yet. Would be nice to have 3 months between shows so there is progress and the ability to build on the business we are doing with people.

maybe i finally found a reason to visit. but i hope it takes place in a hotel that doesn't charge 300 euro per night ;)

Been waiting on AVN or WEBMASTER ACCESS TO DO THIS FOR YEARS.....This is awesome news!

I see it will be close to Adtech London so I'm guessing around the end of September, which will be nicely placed so I can hit

Heard it tru the grapevine, they are working on locking in rates around £200 per night at a stylish/intimate hotel - If you check past shows, XBiz has always been big on affordability at their events.
As far as the show itself goes, they are going to be bringing the XBIZ LA formula to London.

Hi Shap,

Pity it did not work out with our meeting in Las Vegas. I would have loved to sit down with you.

Actually we are not close to the Webmaster Access, but we are rather close to the Oktoberfest Gathering, as, as you can see, my main sponsors and the main sponsors of the Oktoberfest Gathering overlap a lot, and being close to each other time-wise, we save our common sponsors and participants the double-travel.

No, as you can see from our current attendee list, we got a completely different audience (more European) than the Webmaster Access.

I assume people who have been to both shows can confirm this.

Please have a look yourself at our current attendee list under http://www.thebarcelonasummit.com/fi...nuary_2011.xls and let me know how many North American companies you find on that list. It will be below 15%. We are mainly a Pan-European show. Different animal.

May be we can do the meeting we missed out on instead at The Phoenix Forum next month?

maybe you should talk to Xbiz about that. Internext Vegas and Webmaster Access AMS seem to have been on the schedule long before Xbiz came along.

Maybe this will mean no more Xbiz Vegas show, for the 10 people that attended that this past year.

I remember when they put the summer show one week in front of ours... lol... all you can do is shake your head and say WTF. Makes no sense. So yes, if there's no summer show, we won't cry, but if there is one, life goes on.

I'm kind of wondering if AVN is thinking about Amsterdam in August now? Would make sense... since they own WA, and people are used to AVN being in Aug. Amsterdam is a really fun show, loved that city.

hopefully avn gets rid of the Florida show...It just went downhill the past few years. IMHO

I do hope they stick to the same schedule they have had in the past for Webmaster Access Amsterdam...be good to maximize my flight dollars and attend all these shows in a short period and in close proximity to each other.

I doubt it, having Xbiz in front of Amsterdam isn't a big deal. Looking at the pictures from this past year, it looks like people chose Amsterdam over Barcelona, and if the Ams and Prague show overlap. I will expect people to choose AMS again as it seems their are more than just billing opportunities in AMS.

I went to both last year, Barcelona and Amsterdam... both were great shows, and both were very different. Like Andreas said, seemed to be a lot of EU companies in Barcelona, which was great for us. Saw a lot of familiar US faces in Amsterdam, which was also great.

I have the solution for you all! The Dutch Webmaster Meeting will be held in Utrecht or Amsterdam from 20 - 28 september 2011.

Like we do with soccer in Holland, we come all to 1 location in Amsterdam/Utrecht. We take a lot of beer together, wearing orange clothes, and watch the other shows live on big screens. It is allowed to yell and scream when somebody says stupid thinks (about .xxx etcetra) during the seminars. Only the speakers will travel around with a camera crew while we enjoy ourselves in Holland and keep networking instead of traveling. There will be speednetworking all day from 12:00 - 16:00.

The camera crew will travel around and broadcast the event in London, Prague, Amsterdam, Barcelona, Munchen.

It works with Dutch sports events
