When you upload a clip and tag it as yours in the drop down list, a banner and link to your site appears on the video page. We're taking that a step further. We now have links in the title and a bold link beneath the video player. In a little while, we'll also have the ability for your banner to be displayed during pauses and at the end of the video. There's also an embed feature so you can use our hosting service to display your videos on your pages, saving you bandwidth! We only want two things: better banners and good content uploaded.
It's a rolling effect: better content = more people watch your videos = people tell their friends to go to sextube.com = even more people watch your videos = more people sign up for your program = we both make more money. It's that simple.
We get hundreds of submissions a day and have some great insights to share (granted, this may change as viewer's tastes and patterns change as well as we learn more about our visitors):

- 3 minute and even 5 minute clips are old. users recognize them as promos and ignore them once they see the duration. change up the duration and make the clips longer or slightly shorter, but over 4 minutes is best
- don't start your clips with long title sequences. go directly to the action.
- have a nice, legible watermark in the corner. if you can't read the logo, they don't know what site the clip is from. a straight mysite.com text watermark is good enough. even if you write, "My Site", people don't automatically think the address is mysite.com. for all they know, you could be promoting a tv show, dvd series or magazine. if you got a domain name, put it in the watermark
- don't make the watermark take up too much of the video space.
- don't make the watermark fade in and fade out at different parts of the clip. just keep it visible in the corner
- hot girls and big breasts always sell
- if a pornstar is featured in your clip, put the name of the star in the title and in the description. people who search for that pornstar will find your clip on our site and via google.
- uploading a short clip with poor quality and ugly girl, everyday, gets fewer clicks and sales then uploading one long clip, with a hot chick, twice a month.
**** USE OUR THUMB UPLOADER *** we ran extensive tests. clips with a good, clear screencap/thumb that matches the title of the clip, get 100% more clicks. it's true. If you have a clip of a threesome, make sure the thumb shows 2 girls fucking for example. with the thumb uploader, you can upload a photoshopped photo if you want. just keep the resolution of your thumb to max 640x480 when you upload.

- have more than one banner per site promoted. if someone watches 4 of your clips, and sees the same banner over and over, they ignore it. more banners = more chances of clicking to your site
- don't make your site name more than 30% of the banner's space.
- put a hot chick in an attractive sexual position
- make the banner relevant to your product. eg. if your site is about interracial sex, show a black guy fucking a white girl.
- zoom into the girl as much as possible, leaving out the guy. never show a guy's face in the banner.
