    China has blocked searches for #Egypt on its State-approved, State-controlled version of Twitter.Searches for #Egypt on Sina (with over 50 million users) returns the message, "According to relevant laws, regulations and policies, the search results are not shown."

                              Well, I actually heard from some friends that any search for Egypt were blocked, not just twitter. A friend called me Friday to say "what do you get in Google or Yahoo for 'Egypt uprising'" cos he gets #1 "Watch the sun rise in Egypt"

                                              am in china , everything about egypt is making headlines here, all the state media are reporting about it , all the newspapers have it on their frontpage , nothing seems blocked or banned, dont know about the twitter like site, but google and yahoo just show all the news about the protests
