I've taken time away. A year ago I took 3 months off from everything including GFY. But once I started working on my business again, I slowly drifted back in here, not so much for the foolish drama anymore, but for the information, industry updates, and to communicate with other webmasters...... and of course the comedy and nudie pics.

But Labret has his own values.... and "commiserating with his fellow webmaster" isn't really one of them. I admire his resolve to play "devil's advocate" so vehemently, better than Donahue ever did, but many people can't grasp the concept. Many people tend to want to kill the Devil's advocate rather than open their pea-sized mind and think a little.

I can see where Rat would eventually burn out. I'm surprised it took this long. Some of his informative arguments were quite lengthy, and even the fastest typer must still take time to think and consider what he/she will say and how they will say it. Rat's posts took time, I always knew this and wondered how he could continue to be so active on the board and still run a successful business. Up until this thread I had begun to think he was superman.
