anybody ever sold mainstream domains on ebay?
I own a .us domain of a major sports celebrity and a .org of a former great boxers "of all time"....Thinking about selling them on ebay...
Anybody done this?

Ebay kinda sucks for domain sales. People don't want to pay very much, and it's flooded with worthless domains that people are asking $10,000 for.

When Howard Stern switched to Sirius satellite radio I sold HearHoward100.com on ebay for about $330.00 USD. Some guy wanted it for affiliate marketing of satellite radios. I don't think he ever made his money back.

you can start a buzz to get some eyes on the domain on Ebay...but I do agree I have not sold too many for more then double the registration fee. A couple years ago it showed better results...
