I've been thinking about starting up a TGP. I've been feeling a bit nostalgic lately. Do people still submit galleries? Are there still enough submitters out there where a TGP can operate mostly on submitted galleries?

We have a lot of gallery submitters making sales every day.
It's the submitters that spend time making quality galleries with great sales text.

I do but very selectively. I wouldn't waste time with a small site, I suspect most people are the same. You would need to have a way of getting the traffic flowing firstComment

If I was going for a TGP I'd watch in the Buy and Sell for a 6 weeks or so and you'd get something decent come up; it would save you an awful lot of effortComment

Nope, the hard bit is to get a loyal following of regular submitters. There aren't many submitters and most are in their routine with blinkers on.Comment

gallery submitting is DEAD period.
most gallery submitters quit already. Only a 10% remain submitting every single day, but they are failing and their income is DECREASING every single day.
They still work like slaves, but the expensive EURO living is killing them because they are doing less than 5 years ago.
They will soon quit completely.
You can find their nicks on whorevideos.com. There you can see who still submits like a slave 5 gals per day.
I just wonder why they still crash their heads against the wall every day and don't change their strategy or choose any other business where it's 50458254 times easier and faster to make money and more money than with this.
Maybe they are sadomasochist?

BTW, You can see it's a failing business when this happens:
Year 2005: Gallery submitters had to BEG TGP-MGP owners to get a submitter account.
Year 2011: TGP-MGP owners are desperately begging to get more gallery submitters.
That is just a resume of what happens.
Not to name that VideosBoard.com and ThinkReel.com DIED.
Man, can't believe nobody realized that those forums were EXTREMELY ACTIVE between 2002 and 2007. Can't believe people are so naive to don't see the picture.
And can't stand some TGP-MGP owners, Fucking HYPOCRITE ones, don't admitting that their business is on decline.

True, though if you leave your job at the meat factory you aren't left with any shares in the meat factory. If the submitter decides to stop submitting he has a website that he can sell

I have someone who does it for me, they get paid well for their time and I still make profit. I haven't personally submitted a gallery in over 18 months, but it still makes me decent money each month.
