There are lots of hotels within walking distance, even for a typical webmaster. I listed several at the end of this post.

Actually I asked for the opposite corner where I stayed two years ago. The room last year .. I got all the ciggie smoke wafting up from the patio area outside the bar.

LOL! Blondie's wasn't even open last year, they only opened recently. Either way I live 5 minutes from where it's at, I just don't want to drive. I'll definitely see you there though

We have six rooms, three people called from the office, no one was asked their registration # or anything. Just booked the rooms no issues.

I'm not complaining, I'm just curious. I have a strong feeling that most if not all of us that booked rooms are registered.

My experience was that they told me that if TPF discovered you were not registered the reservation would be lost. But they were taking them anyway.

They left me with the impression that they were taking the reservations, they leaving it up to TPF staff to confirm whether or not everyone was registered.

I suspect you may be able to free up some rooms if looked into it.
