You really liked those you should watch Sons of Anarchy.

Wow, me and one other person has mentioned The Wire. Some of you need to get the DVDs and see that. It's seriously the best thing I've ever seen, and I don't even have to think about it for a second.

Watching all 5 seasons of The Wire is something to do before you die. Put it on your bucket list bitches.

If this post has made one person watch The Wire, I've improved my Karma -- I just wish I could be you, so I can watch it again for the first time.

I really liked the first season of Spartacus: Blood and Sand, and the new Gods Of The Arena prequel looks like it is going to be pretty good too.

Got em all, haven't gotten around to watching them yet, maybe when I finish up with Heroes.


I've been trying to get into Weeds, but I dunno. It's not doing it for me so far. Is it plausible that the only reason for it's popularity is that it involves weed? :1orglaugh

Can't believe that no one has mentioned this one. I've spent the past 2 weeks watching the entire series from start to finish. The Shield rocked.

It's not quite as good as The Wire, but it's up there.

Its funny that you mentioned the only Network show in that as being cable. The others are cable.

Heroes is a bad high school play compared to The Wire. You might need to take a long break first, to get that dreck out of your system.

Weeds is good in the middle seasons, and the last season is a train wreck.

i was thinking the exact same thing.. makes every other show look inferior :)

So much character depth and so many characters you can't help but get sucked in.

The Shield was one of the best, for sure. Every week there was something to make your jaw drop. I realize its a different style of show than the Sopranos, but at least they didn't leave you hanging for weeks, with almost nothing happening -- which the Sopranos did on a regular basis.

I try to watch a few episodes during the day while kids nap and I work then a few more late at night.

There has been more than one night the past few weeks when I'm telling myself at 2am that I can watch one more episode before I NEED to get to bed.

Definitely in my top 5 all time favorite tv shows list.

I have heard it is really good. I think I am going to check out the first season on Netflix. It is one that is on my list for sure.

Miami Vice was groundbreaking back in the day.... Sopranos gets my vote for best though.

Dude for sure!!! I remember a few years ago being off from work for 3 days with a buddy of mine watching episode after episode.

I haven't watched all that many but these would be at the top of my list:

Weeds (watched all episodes)
Prison Break (got stuck watching 3-4 episodes per day because it was so incredibly good)

First season was epic. Second season, not so much...

C.mon....Aaron the midget was awesome.
