FULTON, Miss. ? When Neil Brown got high on dangerous chemicals sold as bath salts, he took his skinning knife and slit his face and stomach repeatedly. Brown survived, but authorities say others haven't been so lucky after snorting, injecting or smoking powders with such innocuous-sounding names as Ivory Wave, Red Dove and Vanilla Sky.
Some say the effects of the powders are as powerful as abusing methamphetamine. Increasingly, law enforcement agents and poison control centers say the advertised bath salts with complex chemical names are an emerging menace in several U.S. states where authorities talk of banning their sale

That's funny because back in the day my dealer got his meth from the west coast to the east by having it shipped in bath salts containers. Maybe its not bath salts after all...

He ended up getting busted and spent a good while being transferred around to different federal prisons.

anybody remember the cat craze of the 90s? methcathinone? that was nice stuff. after cat you would spit on cocaine as a complete waste of time and money.

I've never done mephedrone or these other "bath salt" variants, but methcathinone sure didn't cause me any trouble.

I figure that there are a lot of weak-minded people who just dont fucking know how to handle a stimulant. the same types of guys that get drunk and beat their women and misuse guns and cars and end up in jail.

it's imported from china, I have heard.

was talking to some guys at a club a friend owns, who were trying to market meph and k2, driving around with briefcases full of samples. asked them how it was prepared, looking at the little plastic boxes, and they gave me the backstory.
