I think the first thing established wemasters should do is look to pick up as much money that they are currently leaving on the table as they possibly can. Make sure you are doing everything you can to increase the chances of success with what you have right now. Most of the people reading this could likely increase their bottom line as much as 30% just by doing this. And it's easy with no risk or additional resources necessary. Just a little intelligence and focus.

Next thing to do is increase efficiency and reduce your overhead. Are you paying $500 for hosting when you can get comparable quality hosting (with recommendations from people you trust) for $200? Reduce your expenses in that way. It'll give you better security and more to invest.

Then start sending out those feelers to see what works and what doesn't. Keep track of it. Continually go for what returns the most for your time and resources. Don't stay stuck doing one dwindling thing over and over again.

DON'T FOLLOW THE SHEEP. If you've spent any amount of the time in the industry and haven't learned that for the most part the sheep are led around to be someone's meal then you're lost. You need to make money yourself. Make sure you're not just making money for someone else instead. Think for yourself!

I hope this helps someone decent out there.

Hey there, you were pretty pesimistic in other threads... specially about that fact that we can't sell something that is give away for free everywhere.

Did you find any new areas or any secrets that made you change your mind?

Are you converting cams+dating ?

I'm still very pessimistic about pay site sales in general. But if you're selective and stick with legitimate sponsors with fair programs you can still do well. Part of being selective involves trying to promote people who actively keep their stuff off the usual pirate spots. The other part involves making sure you get credit for the revenue you're actually generating. Both are harder than ever to find and if you just follow the sheep they'll lead you the wrong way usually. You gotta do the research yourself and understand it. But that's where your years of experience and knowledge come in. :)

Maybe take a day off away from the computer, relax and do nothing but try to think of ways you can get more $$$ with what you have right now as well as some new ideas. Sometimes getting away from the computer helps one be creative. No sudden new ideas or revelations here otherwise. Still depressing as ever the way the industry is and how people are. But that doesn't mean you can't make $$$ still.

There is still alot of money to be made with blogs, you just have to be smart about it.

Cookie cutter splogs don't really do it anymore, but solid, unique and consistently updated blogs promoting dating and cams will bring in the bucks. Additionally keyword rich, well crafted niche blogs with well selected sponsors also still do well- I know a handful of people who are killing it with tranny, hentai, spanking, etc. If you take the time to know your niche it will pay off for you.

Blogging isn't dead, it's just not as easy as it used to be.

teledildonics, avatars, robots, 3d

Innovation!! .. that's the porn ticket :2 cents:

just started experimenting with some new porn shit. u can do teledildonics now - move your mouse and control a fuck machine's dildo over the internet plowing some chick's cooch; adult virtual world sex - millions of naked avatars fucking each other and playing 'roll playing' games; 3D porn - cause everyone knows the next ipad is no-glasses 3d.. POPUP 3d sex video market; and then finally sex robots 4 sale online.. but hey, that might be a while cause that's still at the roomba stage.

Someone told me the other day that submitting is dead. That was a surprise.

I do blogs. Still making money. Dipped down over the second half of 2010, but it's coming back now.

well, you are lucky then.

if you are able to make 10K per month, just blogging in the adult business 2011 and selling paysites memberships, then you are a champ, dude... congrats. :pimp

you must have very loyal traffic that doesn't know that oron, sharingmatrix, and 100 more sites are.

i mean, people who made loads of money simply submitting galleries had it far to easy. :2 cents: TGP's / MGP's maybe required some skill if you did more than just buy some scripts and feed it crap to get it started. that traffic was fleeting at best.

the people who run/ran freesites, linklists, etc.... they took alllllll that time to build allllllll those pages (omg it's so slow and so much work!) .... i bet they only had to make a few adjustments and then keep it moving to stay afloat during this turbulent time....

If google wanted to get rid of tubes and filesharing from page one results, it could do it. I hate them.
