    House passes health care repeal

overwhelmingly. Does that mean it's "right" and the "will of the American people"?

That's what I kept hearing from the last majority.

All I know is, even in the CNN and MSNBC polls, the majority wanted Obamacare repealed. It won't be though..

We got rid of the Senate and President? Whatever the House says is now law? Interesting development.

Yeah makes you wonder why the Democrats are still playing politics when the will of the people was so clear. The last election was a clear mandate to repeal and/or show disgust with Obamacare.

            The vote was 245-189.

This is politics at it's finest. It doesn't matter if the bill is good or bad; I honestly don't know. But now we can make a law, and then repeal it a few months later. TALK ABOUT TOTALLY FUCKING OVER EVERYONE!

It is the will of the political party with the majority. Who put them there both times? The people. So indirectly it was the will of the American people both times.

Clearly the last party that was in charge misunderstood the will of the people

actually the polls are almost even on each side. so its the will of half the people. Also you dont want to go down the will of the people road. It was the will of the people blacks and woman couldnt vote. If you put what we do up to the will of the people ,we would be in trouble. lol

Actually if you ask about the individual parts of "obamacare" without telling people they are part of Obamacare, the overwhlemingly vast majority favors Obamacare.

Won't get anywhere in the Sneate and even if it did Obama would veto the repeal and neither the house or senate has 2/3 to override.

Liberals are looking for any way to spin this
Last November, the GOP ran on repealing the healthcare law, I think it's pretty apparent that's what the people want, you guys can spin that any way you want.
It passed in the house, now Reid wants to block it from going to vote in the senate, why? Because he is worried that the senators that vote no on the repeal will lose their jobs like their counterparts did in November come 2012.
It might actually pass in the senate because of that, then it would go to Obama, if he vetos it, which he will, no doubt there
The vote will be used in 2012 to rally voters, plain and simple.

This is a purely strategic move, argueing the healthcare law now is superfluous.
Carbon is not the problem, it makes up 0.041% of our atmosphere , 95% of that is from Volcanos and decomposing plants and stuff. So people in the US are responsible for 13% of the carbon in the atmosphere which 95% is not from Humans, like cars and trucks and stuff and they want to spend trillions to fix it while Solar Panel plants are powered by coal plants
                                    think about that

Now isnt it a huge waste of tax payer dollars arguing to repeal law that they wont be able to repeal? Doing political moves on the peoples dime? Now if they came in all about wasteful spending. This seems like wasteful spending of our tax dollars. Also how many of them are saying keep your government health care I dont want it? Or the government pension they get for life I doubt many. Henry Ford once said that he could get half the working class to kill the other half. Its so true and so sad.

Kinda like Barry spending a trillion on shovel ready projects forgetting the bureaucracy that the government has put in place to prevent just that?

So Tony, whats worse, Democrats spending a year getting the law passed that showing by the vote in November the people don't want, or the GOP spending a week getting it ready to repeal it like the voters clearly want, never mind any polls on this, November results show what the people wanted.

The debate over the healthcare law is over, the people voted, Barry said it was a shellacking, remember that.

Except by Nov 2012 people will be FOR it. People don't really want it repealed once they actualyl LEARN whats in it and not believe the bullshit that Faux News spits out. Honeslty what sick is is FOR taking away insurance of sick kids? I mean besides republicans and teabaggers. Saving $5 on your taxes is worth a little kids life? People who think that way need to be shot.

Sick kids in poor families get government help on healthcare, you ignorant fuck.

Is it comforting to know if someone shot you in the cranium, due the diminished size of your gray matter would miss such a diminutive destination?
Carbon is not the problem, it makes up 0.041% of our atmosphere , 95% of that is from Volcanos and decomposing plants and stuff. So people in the US are responsible for 13% of the carbon in the atmosphere which 95% is not from Humans, like cars and trucks and stuff and they want to spend trillions to fix it while Solar Panel plants are powered by coal plants
                                              think about that

Obama's approval ratings went up this month, he's back in the 50%. As the economy improves so will his ratings.

America does need a public option.

As far as I know, if you loose a well paid job with healthcare benefits - your screwed.
Either you pay a fortune or suffer an agonising death.

No wonder, their are so many obese Americans.

Obamacare was a good chance to get things right - as it is in good European countries such as Germany, Holland, Britain and France etc.
