I lost a $100 chip while walking back to the condo last week. It was the only money I lost in Vegas that trip. I may have lost three hands of blackjack all week, and I lose a $100 chip walking down the street.
u know there is irony to that, Adam Small found a 100 chip at the Venetian
I gamble way to fucking much, however, I gamble what I can afford. My philosophy with gambling mirrors my philosophy to opening a bar, "Don't ever put in enough money where you'll miss it if you lose all of it."
I'd say last year in total, I've lost about $20K. I attribute the $6K loss in vegas to alcohol and little sleep. You just don't think straight lol.
My problem, is I'm competitive as hell. I don't play so I can "double my money so I can pay the mortgage." I'm a high limit hold 'em poker player, and you can beat that game if you know what the hell you are doing (and the rake isn't obscene). I just always think, "practice makes perfect...I can beat the other players." Unfortunately, practice is VERY expensive.
My brother is in debt 10000$ and probably because of toomuch sportbetting. Now i saving his stupid ass with loan. And i think i lost around 500$ or 1000$,dont remember exactly.

Loaning money to a compulsive gambler is just a bad idea (even family). I've given my mom thousands of dollars to help pay her debts, even though she makes $80K a year, is single, and has a cheap mortgage, and she still can't get out of debt (Cuz all her money goes to casinos). Drives me fucking crazy, and I'm done bailing her out.
I do not gamble anymore because I just don't get out and about much anymore...but I used to play no limit poker (lowball and draw) virtually every night and lost a few thousand sometimes and won a few thousand sometimes. It becomes to be a very boring game if one plays it properly and patience is the most important part of the game...that is after paying your dues to learn the game.
When you're running down my country hoss...you're walking on the fighting side of me!
