although rats are nasty.. odor of bums is terrible.. worst if they piss or shit themselves right there.
i rode plenty of nyc subway at nights back when i was younger, never seen a rat or mice in the car.. but people, hate when people litter shit everywhere except garbage disposal cans, or yell like no one else is riding there with them.
forget about youngsters letting elderly or pregnant have a seat when trains are full.Comment

That's the big apple alright, walked those subways underground station to station many times as kid just for the thrill.
Seen a rat or two between stations but never on the trains.

Still the best city hands down. Every city has some sort of problem. I'll deal with seeing one rat every year or so to be able and order anything I want within 15 minutes, have some of the best restaurants and museums. Shopping aint half bad either.
