Some women spend lots of money on valentines day. It may be a stupid day to some ppl but to others it's a very special day :)

well, lets do a little math, Cheshire probally didn't have any real chance of a boyfriend till she was 12 or 13 - being about 25 now that 50% of her life.

so that leaves 50% of her life to fill... most people spend their high school years single so that's about another 25% of her life, leaving only about 8 years where she could have really had a serious adult natured relationship for valentines day.

she didn't say 100% were single, so she did spend a few years with someone. - looking at it from available years to be with someone over her life span I would guess she only spent 60-70% of valentines days alone. not bad for only being about 25 years old.

I like Valentine's day, because its my birthday. :glugglug

Actually the 13th, but I was born 18 minutes before midnight so growing up all my birthday themes were valentines hearts and crap. I still to this day have a thing for pink crap here and there. hehe

One.
I spent One Valintine's day in a relationship and it was a Horrible day.

And Pink ~ I like being single, it's just nice to have a big snuggly bear to cuddle up to and celibrate with. And when you don't have that, that day can be chilly.

Well if you like being single then don't let it bother you. If you want to have someone to snuggle up to go out and meet someone. You're pretty, intelligent, funny etc... share that with someone :)
When you find that special person you'll fall into the whole valentines day thing :)

There's a difference between meeting people / hanging out with someone, and having a boyfriend and being attatched.
I'm single, not a shut in :winkwink:

i agree with that - when I was single I wasn't looking for a relationship (only casual sex) and I enjoyed being single. I dated and went out a LOT more than I do now actually.

So you dated more Before you were married?
You must have been quite the stud.

LOL Thats not what I was trying to say by any means !!!
All I'm trying to say is that you're good stuff, and you deserve to have that special kind of love from someone.

Cheshire 01-16-2003 09:33 PM

Well there's a chance I'll have a really nice Valintine's day this year, not that any of the others (with the exception of the one spent with my ex) were bad in any way.

I've never had casual sex for many reasons. I'm sure all the single ppl kinda enjoy being single sometimes but why for such long periods of time?? If it's because they just got out of a long relationship or whatever I understand. But we only have one life then we're gone so use your time here very wisely.

I know that I've found that special someone whom I would die for and I cherish that with everything I have. When I'm too sick to care for myself I want him to be there to take care of me. I want to share all the good and bad times with him.

I think you see things in black and white, pink (lol).

A person is not strictly 'single' or 'involved', either having 'casual' or 'monogamous' sex.

There's different levels, different degrees to one's relationship status. I can be hanging out with just one guy, and there's no need for him to be my 'boyfriend'. There's so much responsibility with having and maintaining a 'relationship', that I just like to kick it and be together however it works in the moment.

"Find Mr. Right Now ~ and if things are going really great, the 'Now' part just drops away."

She takes his bulging manhood in her soft, petite hands and knows that his beating heart is now her own, and that the two pulses cannot survive with eachother. With that she begins to stroke his life into her's as they ride the passionate wave of bliss off into the sunset of desire.
