Vick will be back with the Eagles next year. No worries. Hopefully the Eagles will get a stronger O-line next year, and someone will teach Sean McDermott how to run a defense over the summer.
The Pack did outplay the Eagles in that game. I will readily admit it. But, had Vick not tried to force that touchdown at the end, it very well could have been the Eagles moving on.
Vick looked very banged up from the beginning. The "pep" in his step just wasnt there. Props to the defensive coordinator of the Packers for bringing constant pressure and taking advantage of this.

Stupid Kuhn fumble that gave them the first down, and the eagles offsides in the first half. Both of those 3rd down plays would have stopped a GB score.
And then fucking Akers... whatever, first FG I can understand missing... 2nd he just drove straight right.
Or Celek stays inbounds, giving Akers a field goal at end of the game to tie.
Good game, Packers killed the eagles in the first half, Eagles looked better then the Pack in the 2nd.

Akers pissed me off. One of the best kickers in the league and he has his shitty game today.
The other things that can be pointed out:
Eagles D shut down the Pack on a couple of crucial drives at the end. Where the fuck was this level of play earlier in the game?
And the Eagles O driving down the field multiple times at the end of the game. Again, where the fuck was this level of play earlier in the game?
Oh well. It was supposed to be a rebuilding year, and the Eagles originally weren't even supposed to make the playoffs (last place finish in the division was the prediction, I believe.) Exciting season, but they had too many weaknesses to make it the whole the way. I'm hoping the staff sees that and makes the right changes in the offseason.
One thing that I'll have to keep doing next year is following the open game thread over at BleedingGreenNation. Those guys are funny as shit.

The only reason the Eagles were moving the ball down the field towards the end was because the Packers started running a conservative zone defense to stop Vick from making big plays down the field. You can't blame him for taking that last shot down the field, that was as good as an opportunity as any against the Packer's secondary.
The Packers played keep away by running the ball with their rookie and tough defense once they were up 3 TDs. I personally think if Rodgers had kept throwing the ball and the Packers kept blitzing, Vick would have gone out on a stretcher and the score would've been something along the lines of 35-10.

Sure I can, I'm an Eagles fan.
I just wish that he would have spiked the ball to stop the clock, rather than running the play that resulted in an interception. There was still around 40 seconds on the clock, and it was a new set of downs, so after the spike they still would have had three downs to get to the endzone. I think the whole play was rushed. Had he spiked the ball, he would have had time to take a breath and focus.
Regardless, there's too many flaws in the Eagles offense and defense for them to have had a serious chance at winning the Superbowl, so I'd rather them get knocked out now than keep stringing me along for a few more weeks.

Did we watch the same game? They were never up 21.

I meant once they scored 3 TDs they just tried to play keep away. I think their lead was like 21-10. After that, their rookie RB was just running the clock down. The Packers are a pass team, had Rodgers kept throwing the ball it could have been a lot worse.

I doubt the packers gave up that early and tried to burn the clock that early in the game. Eagles played good D in the second half. The packers average like 30 carries a game, they always run a lot... just not successfully. This time Starks played well.

I never said they gave up. They just played keep away from Vick. Rodgers is easily capable of 350-400 yard games. When Rodgers got to the red zone he was 3 for 3, he made it look like child's play against the Eagles.
Also, Starks was only able to run because the Eagles defense is weak. Matt Forte and the Bears achieved the exact same thing. He ran 120 yards on just 4 attempts, and we too like the Packers had virtually no running game to speak of until that game.
