BA CFP, etc all kinds of financial world designations that the people I used to compete against filled their business cards up with. I never cared about them though, my cards just had my name on them.

just my opinion ofcoarse.. but think about all the unemployed grads from college....seems like a real big waste of time to me.. unless you goto school for something specific..

going to get knowledge is great and respectible.. but other than that I dont think its necessary..

Seriously, I got a certificate as a nail technician and worked for two years doing nails in a very chi-chi hair salon in Texas. How chi-chi? $50 for a set of fake nails. I couldn't afford to get my hair done at the shop I worked in...:1orglaugh

Yeah, they're everywhere. In Texas -- can't speak for anywhere else -- they were mostly run by Asian immigrants and charged insanely cheap prices for nails done using illegal materials. Like dental acrylic. That shit will poison you! When they use it to make dentures, etc, they bake it and it cures it so the chemicals don't leach out...but when you get it put on your nails, the chemicals leach into your bloodstream through the nailbed.
