Please show me where I lied. I took a lot of heat and came out saying exactly what we were doing. As a company we have a lot of projects on the go at all times and I don't always know exactly what our arrangements or deals are with every site.

That idea has been done at least a half a dozen times before. There was a site called Imagecash that tried it about 5 years ago, paying out a % of revenue to licensed content uploaders. If I recall, the problem became trying to verify which content was legit and which wasn't.
