    For Those Not @ the Venetian....

    Where did you end up staying?

    I am sure some ended up enjoying their comps at their favorite hotel. Some at Harrah's, Imperial Palace, MGM or maybe the Wynn if you are hitting the mainstream conference as well.

    Where will your drunken weary arse be crashing?

      I'm at the Casino Royale, directly in front of the Venetian on the strip. It's inexpensive, has a Denny & Subway for quick breakfast or late night meals and is within walking distance to the conventions. Hit me up later when you get in, toots!

          We are at the Wynn, although will be spending a lot of time in Lagasse Stadium in the Palazzo watching Playoffs. No better place to watch sports on the strip imo.

              Staying comped at the flamingo, could have stayed comped at Harrah's but I hate the rooms at the place.

                                                              Don't stay at Wynn or Encoure. Had pretty shitty experiences with them despite bringing up the issues with their manager. They claim to be a 5 star hotel but they are not. I always enjoy Venetian but Belagio is still not that bad either.

                                                                                                                                                  The Sands was great and stayed there the first time I was in Vegas in the early 80s. Once had a room with a marble bath that fitted 6. Me a mate and 4 girls. The joys of shooting porn films at the Vegas AVN convention.

                                                                                                                                                  First time I let Eva book she put us in the Stratosphere. Had breakfast in the "All you can eat Brunch" along with all the trailor trash. Awful place.
