I agree with the media control. They decide "whats hot and whats not" (sorry, couldnt think of anything else).

As said before, child abduction and stuff like that happens every day but as long no one reports it everything seems fine.

This probably happens a lot but now that everyone starts reporting it it looks like some creepy global happening.

I found news articles (in Dutch) of this happening alot years ago too.

As odd as it sounds, I read the other day that flocks of birds randomly dying is not all that uncommon. Everything from lightning to firecrackers to airplanes to windmills and yeh, probably chemicals and pollution, too.

No need to wonder, you're exactly right. All you have to do is research it. These things happen ALL THE TIME. They just don't normally report on it. For whatever reason, they're reporting on it now.
