If you learned how to play on FB, I would recommend that you only play the penny blinds. FB poker will ruin you.Vacares - Web Hosting, Domains, O365, Security & More - Paxum and BTC Accepted

No. Poker isn't poker.
Poker is who you play against. It's not so much your cards or even you. If you can't figure out and handle your opponent, you're not going to do very well. Playing for free money is nothing like playing for real money.
Unless you want to lose a lot of your money really fast, play really low stakes until you get a handle on it. Then slowly move up on your stakes.

Whether or not pokerstars is the best, they have by far the most games available.
You play limit, no limit, full ring, short handed or heads up? Tournements or cash?Comment

I wouldn't us FB poker as an indicator of how well you think you can play. There's a huge difference in most people's decision making between free play and real money play. Having said that, it won't hurt to try some real money play if you just play the micro blinds as Sly suggested."WTF, on google you can find the answer to every question in human history, EXCEPT how to convert cams..
Its crazy..."

Rush poker on Fulltilt is cool, but way to many lucky amateurs. Pokerstars is a better quality of players.
Facebook poker is a joke, people play every hand they have and call bets no matter what, may as well play bingo.Comment

$0.05/$0.10 is usually pretty decent, $0.01/0.02 can get pretty rough. One table will be like a free table, the next table will be like normal poker. I usually play $0.25/$0.50 or $0.50/$1.00... i've also played a few small $5 and $10 tournaments and i'm doing quite good. i've learnt to control myself and only play decent hands and also not chase too many runs and flushes, also learning when to fold. you are right though its a totally different game playing for real money, i'm much more cautious.Comment
