Lindsay Lohan violated 'several aspects' of probation

Hopefully she will get out in time for the next season of, "Celebrity Rehab"....

Los Angeles (CNN) -- Though she is free to leave court-ordered rehab for substance abuse this week, actress Lindsay Lohan's legal issues could get more complicated after police in California said she violated her probation. The Riverside County Sheriff's Department said Lohan violated probation when she allegedly tussled with a then-staff member at the Betty Ford Center here as she was undergoing three months of court-ordered substance abuse rehab.

Authorities plan to send the result of their investigation to the district attorney's office to decide if the actress should face battery charges -- even though the former staff member has said she will no longer cooperate with the investigation and does not want charges filed, the department said Monday. "It is expected that this investigation will be sent to the district attorney's office later this week," the sheriff's office added.

The Betty Ford Center fired the staffer, Dawn Holland, after information about the December 12 incident was leaked to the media. "When patients come to the center for treatment, they come to a safe place where their identity is protected, where anonymity is safeguarded," the center said in a statement, without confirming Holland was the employee in question.

Holland has told investigators she will "no longer be cooperating with the investigation and does not wish to have charges filed," the sheriff's office said. Last month, Lohan's lawyer Shawn Chapman Holley confirmed that an "incident" had taken place, but declined to comment on what happened.

Meanwhile, Holland's lawyer said last month that the former staffer was "targeted, unmercifully interrogated, intimidated and threatened with her livelihood" by the treatment center.

Lohan checked into the Betty Ford Center on September 27 after it became clear a judge intended to send her to jail because of a failed drug test. The judge eventually ordered Lohan to stay in the drug rehabilitation program until Monday instead of going to jail. Lohan's probation is scheduled to end in August of 2011.

Prosecutor Danette Meyers said she expects to see Lohan back in municipal court on February 1 for a review of whether she has fulfilled the terms of her probation.
Lohan's legal troubles began when she was arrested twice in 2007 on charges of driving under the influence; in the second incident, she was charged with cocaine possession.
Los Angeles Superior Court Judge Elden Fox has said if Lohan violates the rules of her rehab program or fails a drug test before her court date on February 25, she will be sent to jail for 180 days.

If the person is refusing to press charges then it will most likely get dropped. Seems that money won again.

And this is what they are spending tax money on while the govt. goes bankrupt. Unreal.

Hopefully they will keep doing this until all the Hollywood stars decide to leave California and move elsewhere. Back in the day they used to protect the stars. If they pulled over Cary Grant shit faced drunk and stoned...they drove him home, got an autographed pic.

That's how you kept the golden goose (hollywood) happy.

But now every cop wants to be on television and be famous for arresting a "star" and the judges want the same thing. Idiots.

I like how she moved herself into the house directly next door to her the ex girlfriend she has been said to be violently obsessed with.

                All without telling the ex.

                        Yes.

And don't think for a minute that "normal" people don't "get away" with doing exactly the same stupid shit that Miss Lohan did. I see girls doing the same thing every night in any nightclub you walk into. Getting trashed? Check. Doing blow? Check. Getting into fights? Check. Acting crazy? Check.

And 99.99% of the time they don't get "caught" by the law. And when they do...they don't end up in an endless legal battle that takes away their freedoms for years. It's because she's a celebrity that this is still going on. If it was just a "normal" young hot white girl, this would have never went this far. But since she's a celebrity, the court is loving the publicity.

Thank God that it wasn't this way back in the 1970's...we would have missed out on a lot of great music. Keith Richards, Eric Clapton, Aerosmith, ex-members of the Beatles would have all been in jail and on probation instead of making music.

They certainly did things MUCH "worse" than this little piddling shit that Lyndsay Lohan did. And yet SOMEHOW society was not endangered by having Keith Richards roam the world shooting guns on heroin. But now in 2011, we can all feel safer in our homes knowing that a 100 pound girl is being "watched" by the all-powerful govt.

Keith Richards never spent any time in jail other than a few days in the 1960's
I'm reading his book right now and he just described getting pulled over in Arkansas in the 1970's with a car that he had packed full of cocaine, plus he had eight balls all over his person tucked in his pockets, AND a suitcase full of Merck pharmaceutical cocaine in the trunk.

After a few hours at the police station...and NEVER being locked up at all, just free to roam the premises...he ended up taking a photo with he and Ron Wood hugging the judge and then was whisked away by helicopter.

Dude, I'm a big Stones fan. And even sent in my Exile On Main Street postcard to "Free Keith" when he was under "house arrest" at a 5 star hotel in Canada for a few days. lol

The Stones played a benefit concert for the blind on that one and charges were dropped.

Lyndsay Lohan hasn't done shit compared to what others did in the past. The difference is the police state mentality that we live in these days.
