    Have anyone tried the PayPal app for iPhone?

    Which allows you to scan checks: iphonefaq.org/archives/971083

    Does it works outside US? Is it safe to cash checks from adult companies to PayPal or will they steal all my money?

          Just downloaded the app and it didn't work.

          Is there any other way to deposit checks online?

                  Does it say in the terms it is US only? I know most bigger banks are working on this. Chase already has it. BofA will have it soon.

                      I downloaded it and it works well for me. I haven't tried the check-cashing gadget yet but I wouldn't anyway - it seems too risky to me somehow. And besides I'm pretty sure its for US only. The Paypal push notification thing is good because I'm notified of each payment I get as well as each automatic charge to my account. While its true I can get the same thing by email having it on my phone is pretty cool. A few other neat sounding including a gadget that lets you pay someone by BUMPing phones I have yet to try.

                          I haven't read the terms (don't know where to find them) but in the swedish version of the app there is no "Add money from Checks" option.

                              I use the app, but not to cash checks, I love being able to check my balance on the go, and the push notifications of payments received is VERY nice as well

                                      Must be US only as it is under "tools" on the US version.

                                          I've used it and...adding checks works nicely. Make sure to get the pic of the check in good lighting and always sign the back of the check.
