    Places To Stay In Vegas?

I'm looking for an affordable place to stay on the 31st till the second. Is there anywhere outside of Vegas that you can recommend that's decent and that's not over $100 a night? My Motel 6 room is $26 dollars a night on the 29th and $56 on the 30th and over $170 on the 31st.

I'm guessing on the way to Vegas pass state line there's got to be small mom and pop motels that are cheap

That town sells out for New Years.

Good luck finding what you are looking for.

That is a tough call. The chances of finding any hotel under $100 for NYE are slim to even slimmer. Whenever we are looking to do a littel staycation here in Vegas, we look on kayak.com. You might want to try there?

I also don't think you'll be able to find below $100 on NYE. Check out http://www.southpointcasino.com/ and http://tuscanylv.com/

I suggest Tuscany Hotel & Casino... all their rooms are pretty large... good for filming: http://www.tuscanylv.com/

It's affordable too! The pool area is really slow though... you need to goto the hard rock pool parties!

I got a room at the Tuscany for filming once and it was surprisingly nice for the money...

Doing a quick search though, I'm not seeing much for under $100/night over NYE weekend...

Hotwire.com has a few listed for $84 - $99. Only thing is you don't get the name of the hotel until after you book it.

                Good luck!

You might have to go to Primm or Laughlin.

If prices get too high, check out Gold Strike in Jean. It's 15 miles south of the strip via I15 or Las Vegas Blvd. New Years Eve is $90, New Years Day is $80 and the day after is $40.

If you hadn't waited until a couple days before nye, you could have stayed in almost any hotel you wanted to for $100/night.

For your own safety I would recommend that you stay - ON The Strip. Especially if your going to be all shit faced. There's parts of Vegas that aren't exactly part of the city of lights.

I like Paris because it's like right in the middle. But as people have mentioned in this thread... New Years is going to be pretty tough. Your best shot is priceline or to just go there and wing it. You will probably end up paying more... but a room always opens up. You just might have to wait a bit and slip a tip.

As you can see from their website, they are a part of the Bellagio, City Center, etc. family of hotels. They should know something about customer service. Have a good time.

BTW, Rick's Cabaret is having free alcohol and $100 bottles from 11:00 PM to midnight NYE. DON'T take a taxi and tell them Phil (bald guy at the podium inside the door) invited you and it's free admission. If you don't know, Rick's is a gentlemen's club.

Huh? Staying on the strip sucks. Lot more fun at Fremont or over at Hard Rock and The Palms or get real crazy and head down 95 and go to Sams Town or Boulder Station or Eastside Cannery. Matter of fact there are huge casino/resorts all over town in every direction. Every one of them has tons of restaurants and nightclubs right on premises to party. There's no "safety" issue at all...unless you get run over by some of the old people in their wheelchairs and oxygen tanks. lol

But you aren't gonna find a room in Vegas on New Years for under $100

I just did a quick search all around town. Even a place like The 4 Queens over on Fremont which is usually under $50 is going at over $200 for Dec. 31st.
