Washington (CNN) - Oprah Winfrey says America may "fall in love" with Sarah Palin as a TV star, but is dismissing the idea that the country would vote for the former Alaska governor in the future. Asked in an interview with Parade magazine if the thought of Palin's running for office scares her, Winfrey responded, "It does not scare me because I believe in the intelligence of the American public."

Palin is perfect for RNC chair, but I dont think she's willing to step aside from the killer life she's having. No pun intended about the hunting stuff.
She's gonna be a convention draw, a rally meister and all that stuff for sure. She's great at that sort of thing. She has more "power" right now than politicians. Why step down from it?

Oprah abstained from endorsing politicians for a long time, when she endorsed Obama many where surprised. The endorsement alone was a very big deal. I remembered she said she did it because he was a personal friend. I wonder what she thinks now, I mean Obama hasn't really impressed anyone at all she choose to use her influence and money to endorse this particular friend who eventually became president. I wonder if she regrets it, I know many people who do.
