I was checking it out at gamestop today, but then I noticed the really cool Tron special-edition controllers and bought that instead, and the new Tron game.
My brother has been creaming over this game, and telling me I need to play it. I asked him if there any rockets that pop out of the cars and blow shit up.
He said "no", and I said "not interested".
I never understood these hardcore sim games, like flying simulators and driving around a track to shave 1/10 of a second of your last time. Let me shoot some fucking napalm from my headlights and drive through 20 layers of sheetrock into a sleeping baby's crib. It's a goddamn game.

not every game has to be fantasy. some people do enjoy realistic games like sports games, including racing.
I remember Gran Turismo 1 for the playstation... almost failed out of college because of it

I have Tiger Woods golf for my PS3. It's realistic, but I can't help wishing Tiger could run around the course with a mini-gun, mowing down spectators -- and using timed C4 charges to blow the ball out of the sandtrap.

You know you've been playing Call Of Duty too much when............................
I Buy My High Quality Traffic Here, You Should Too!
I was slightly disappointed by Black Ops. They advertised it as some high tech, modern setting -- then come to find out it cold war/Vietnam era, with a little WW2 also. Even the box has no descriptions on the back, just cool pictures. Really slick advertising, and kind of deceitful. Who knew it was set in the 60's unless they read a detailed article about it?
These Call of Duty games are getting a little monotonous and almost so linear its on rails. They need to open up the world for the next game, and do a sandbox type thing, with a non-linear story. It's wash, rinse, kill, get captured, shoot from a helicopter, repeat.
