                    You are probably right. I just find it quite annoying when these people who weren't even alive during Vietnam talk like they understand what the world was like then.
                    I bet none of them know how many draftees were killed there.

                    For the uninformed..draftees were not people who signed up to kill a commie for Christ.

                        And that's exactly why the Vietnam war was a war where you had to support the troops, they had to do it. And the exact reason you shouldn't support the troops today - they don't have to do it.

                                        If there were not enough volunteers...then the draft would be reinstated. Eighteen year olds still have to register for the draft in the U.S...and the draft boards are still active.

                                        So from your statement I conclude that if one is drafted then you support the actions of the troops but if they are volunteers then you do not support the actions of the troops.
